This follows an evening of festivity where giant monster effigies are paraded through the streets. The lead up to Nyepi involves time-honored rituals with offerings to appease evil spirits and restore balance to Bali for a fresh new start.

On the eve of Nyepi Day, 16th March, a beachfront traditional dinner to celebrate Balinese New Year with local cuisine and cultural entertainment will be available at IDR 450,000++ person. The next day, 17th March, all guests will be required to remain in the confines of the resort and so a flavorful international buffet dinner will be served at Seasonal Tastes from 6.30pm onwards for just IDR 495,000++ per person.
