Toriden @ The Table, Isetan The Japan Store

January 9, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

For those who have not visited Toriden before, it is time to visit Toriden. Toriden is one of the outlet in The Table that are worth to visit. The restaurant is featuring the Japanese Style Steamboat which is originated from Fukuoko Japan.
Toriden is serving hotpot with chicken soup which is one of the traditional local dishes of Fukuoka. Being that, Toriden’s mission is to introduce everyone the tastiest Mizutaki while keeping the Hakata tradition alive.
One of the signature in Toriden is of course the Mizutaki (RM 60) where the Japanese style steamboat is served with the light blend of sup and yet well infused with the flavours of chicken broth in it. The soup is being cooked with the chicken breast, 2 chicken thigh, together with the chicken meatballs and vegetable in it. One can add additional ingredients to it inclusive of tofu, kudzu starch noodles (RM 8) , Green Vegetables, white leak , carrots to name a few.
Asides from the original one they comes out with their Tomato base broth where the broth comes creamy and fragrant with the blend of tomato in it. Added with a piece of cheese on top.
Aside, don’t miss out Toriden Tamago where these are their signature here. The Toriden Tamago (RM10), a soft-boiled egg served cold. The taste is simply awesome with the creamy runny egg.
If you’re looking for a healthy and hearty dish, Toriden is definitely the place to go for. And what I love the most is where all the cooking is done next to you by the friendly staff, and I just sit back and enjoy the ambiance, chit chatting with friends while waiting for your meal to be served.
