Porcini Delights @ Villa Danielli, Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur

October 7, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

In the vast culinary world of edible mushrooms, only one can be called king. What Italians affectionately call porcini (piglets), is the ruling class of mushrooms. The meat-like texture of porcini, along with their earthy and somewhat nutty flavour, is unequalled among mushrooms and lends itself to countless dishes. And the promotion will be available till end of October 2016.
Vongole Saltate Con Funghi Porcini (RM 68)
Enjoy the plate of clams where it is packed with flavours and the taste is amazingly delicious. The sauteed clams which is soaked in white wine and topped with porcinin and cherry tomato is something you must order here.

Zuppa Ai Porcini (RM 62)
For those who are looking for a warm hearty bowl of soup, you will definite to love this. The Porcini Soup served with Truffle Oil and Crispy Beef Bacon is something worth to order here. The soup is  simply packed with the wholesome mushroom in in it and topped with the crisp beef bacon on top. Creamy and yet aromatic.
Gnocchi Porcini E Burrata (RM 68)
A light and yet flavourful dish to go for. The Potato Gnocchi served with Porcini and Burrata is something good for those who are looking for some light bites.

Filetto Di Salmone Con Funghi Porcini (RM 115)
I am impressed with this and the taste is just wonderfully delicious. Pan Fried Salmon Fillet  is perfectly cooked till perfection and served with Porcini, Green Asparagus and Saffron Lemon Sauce. The dish is just awesomely done- flaky fish meat with the complete juiciness in it. Just perfectly good and delicious.

Filetto Di Manzo Alla Rossini (RM 165)
Love some angus beef here! Try their Black Angus Beef Tenderloin which served with Pan Fried Foie Gras, Grilled Porcini, Celeriac Puree and beef jus. The plate of beef comes with fine marbling texture that ensure consistent flavor and juiciness in every bite.
Budino Di Pane Ai Porcini (RM 45)
Porcini Bread Pudding served with Vanilla Ice-Cream is such an interesting dish. Combination of sweet and savoury and the bread pudding
being moist is indeed well paired with the Vanilla Ice Cream. Delicious.
