GOD OF WEALTH BRINGS A FRENCH TWIST TO ROYAL PLAZA ON SCOTTS IN THE YEAR OF THE MONKEY

February 13, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

Royal Plaza on Scotts welcomes the Year of the Monkey with Patrick Fiat, the hotel’s French General Manager & Chief Experience Officer (CEO), dressed up as the God of Wealth at the main entrance on Thursday, 11 February, from 6.30am to 8.30am and 12.30pm to 1.30pm to welcome guests and hotel associates at the hotel. Mandarin oranges were given out and hotel associates received lucky red packets from the God of Wealth himself.

The celebration will also involve associates from all departments coming together with the hotel’s guests to enjoy the Dragon Dance and South Lion performances at the lobby on Friday, 12 February at 9am.

Fiat, who has been leading the hotel for 18 years, enjoys being a part of the festivities during this festive season. “Greeting our guests and associates while dressed up as the God of Wealth always bring a smile to their faces. We are big on embracing multiculturism here and encourage our guests and associates to join in and celebrate the Lunar New Year.”

The hotel was also awarded the ‘Watch Out World’ Special Mention Award by Great Place to Work 2015 in recognition of the hotel’s employee engagement efforts.
