Built in 1926, it served as a home to the British colonial officers and local administrators. Today, it has been refurbished into a Heritage Hotel with most of its Anglo-Malay architectural essence still intact. 1926 Heritage Hotel Penang occupies 24 beautifully restored link houses along Jalan Imigresen in the heart of Jalan Burma. Georgetown’s heritage enclave, shopping and financial districts are nearby – and the Penang International Airport is a mere 25-minute drive away.

1926 Heritage Hotel creates an atmosphere of nostalgia – a unique blend of Malay, Indian and English architectural influences typical of the colonial era. Here, you will enjoy spacious landscape in which to escape from the bustles of the world around you.
