NEW YEAR’S EVE AND DAY CELEBRATIONS AT MANDARIN ORIENTAL, HONG KONG

An exceptional New Year’s Eve awaits those who come to Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong. Situated in the heart of Central, this legendary hotel provides an ideal setting for fun-filled celebrations, family get-togethers, or romantic evenings. Award-winning restaurants and chefs, luxurious rooms and suites, legendary service, along with a magical array of festive decorations make for an unforgettable experience.

Pierre will offer an outstanding two-Michelin-starred, French gourmet New Year’s Eve celebration. Guests will start with a glass of Dom Pérignon champagne and cocktail reception at   M bar, and then move to Pierre for an extravagant Michelin-starred, nine-course dinner at HKD4,988 per person with entertainment provided by a live jazz band while admiring the magical views of Hong Kong’s skyline. Mandarin Grill + Bar’s New Year’s Eve celebrations will start the evening with a cocktail reception and canapés at the Grill Bar followed by a decadent six-course dinner with the accompaniment of a live jazz trio. Including a glass of Krug Grand Cuvée champagne plus half a bottle of Krug Grand Cuvée as a giveaway per couple, the Michelin-starred meal is priced at HKD3,988 per person. For those wishing to celebrate in the place that is referred to as Hong Kong’s most beautiful restaurant with stunning harbour views, Man Wah offers the perfect setting and a full à la carte menu of Cantonese specialties including a complimentary glass of R de Ruinart champagne. A minimum of HKD2,588 on food and drinks per person applies.

A popular family tradition in Hong Kong is to welcome the New Year at Clipper Lounge with a grand seafood buffet whilst enjoying live jazz. Two seatings will be offered, with the earlier priced at HKD928 per adult including a glass of R de Ruinart champagne and HKD418 per child. The second seating starts at 9 p.m. including free flow of R de Ruinart champagne and is priced at HKD1,488 per adult and HKD758 per child. Meanwhile, those looking for a series of mouth-watering international dishes will find them at Café Causette, with its full à la carte menu and sumptuous table buffet for HKD748 per adult and HKD418 per child.

The revelry continues into the early hours at the Captain’s Bar, where a live band will perform. Meanwhile, a DJ will be entertaining guests from 10 p.m. until late night at M bar situated on the 25th floor. Entrance to M bar after 10 p.m. is HKD498 per person which includes a glass of R de Ruinart champagne, much excitement, and amazing views over the city, the fireworks, and beyond.

All-night revellers or early birds can enjoy breakfast at Café Causette anytime between 3 a.m. and 11 a.m. Allow us to take care of the details and start the day invigorated.

Eat, drink, and have fun as you celebrate the first day of 2016. Mandarin Grill + Bar’s sumptuous Michelin-starred champagne brunch is a tradition when beginning the New Year. Priced at HKD1,688 for adults and HKD658 for children, brunch is available from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be an extensive choice of seafood delicacies, breakfast items, roast meats, and desserts, all accompanied by free-flowing Ruinart Brut Blanc de Blancs champagne.

Man Wah diners can enjoy a traditional dim sum lunch from 10:30 a.m. and an array of à la carte choices for both lunch and dinner. Seafood and champagne lovers should make reservations at Clipper Lounge, where a lavish New Year’s Day champagne brunch buffet awaits. Available from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., the brunch is priced at HKD888 for adults and HKD598 for children. The Clipper Lounge’s famed afternoon tea will be offered between 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. at HKD338 for one or HKD528 for two guests, and between 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., diners can enjoy a dinner buffet priced at HKD688 for adults and HKD398 for children.
