DORSETT MONGKOK, HONG KONG AWARDED TRIPADVISOR’S CERTIFICATE OF EXCELLENCE FOR 4 CONSECUTIVE YEARS

June 16, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

Dorsett Mongkok, Hong Kong is pleased to announce its fourth consecutive win of Certificate of Excellence awarded by the world’s largest and most popular travel site, TripAdvisor. Just shy of 2 years after the hotel’s opening in 2010, Dorsett Mongkok has been receiving the award ever since 2012. Hospitality businesses that maintained an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least 4 out of 5 over the past year are qualified to receive the Certificate of Excellence award, demonstrating their hospitality excellence as proven by a considerable amount of outstanding traveler reviews on TripAdvisor.

Recipients of Certificate of Excellence Represents Top 10% Top-performing Hotels Globally
Among 748,000 hotels listed on TripAdvisor, Certificate of Excellence is only awarded to 10% of top-performing hotels based on reliable and genuine hotel reviews from global travellers. A TripAdvisor guest from New Zealand that contributed to the winning of this highly recognised award compliments on the thoughtful service provided by the staff at Dorsett Mongkok, “Each morning as I walked past the staff greeted me by name – wonderful personal service… I’m so eager to share  how the staff went the extra mile – I had a birthday whilst I was staying – imagine my surprise at returning from a long day at Macau to find the most tasty cake I have ever had, a bottle of wine, and a “happy birthday” card sitting on my desk. I cannot praise the staff more highly, I will definitely return.”

Since Dorsett Mongkok’s first win of the award in 2012 after its opening in 2010, the staff has strived to work even harder as they believe that nothing is more rewarding than receiving compliments from delighted guests, “Winning an internationally acclaimed award makes all the hard work worthwhile. We’re so motivated to perform even better in the future”, said Ms Anita Chan, General Manager of Dorsett Mongkok.

Dorsett Mongkok has consistently received high ratings from global travellers who rave about the accommodations’ wide range of thoughtful facilities and services. “Everyone at Dorsett Mongkok embraces a can-do spirit as part of our core value, “Beyond Thoughtful – Anytime. Everywhere”. Our staff is constantly reminded to outperform themselves in whatever they do”, said Ms Anita Chan, General Manager of Dorsett Mongkok. “One of my favourite mottos is ‘We Shall Never Deny a Guest’. When you see a radiant smile on a guest’s face when he checks out of the hotel, you will only know that he has enjoyed his stay. However, if you receive a handwritten ‘Thank You’ note from the guest, you can be certain that you have done a tremendous job impressing him, and that’s when you know you’ve outperformed yourself”, said Ms Anita Chan.
