ROKKO JAPANESE GRILL RESTAURANT @ LE APPLE BOUTIQUE HOTEL

ROKKO JAPANESE

A brand new Japanese Restaurant (Rokko Restaurant) which is located just next to Avenue K indeed bringing us much suprises during our recent visit. The restaurant with a big space, private rooms and the restaurant is bringing the concept of Isakaya Style.

The interior of this outlet portrays the famous Japanese guest-house (Rokan) like golden-day era time with its tranquil Zen-liked wooden timber designs.

We started with the platter of appetizers where the platter of the variety of small delights. This includes the Spicy Sliced Bamboo Shoot (RM 5.50); Sweet Potato with Butter (RM 13), Mozuku Seaweed with Ginger, Kimchi (RM 7) , Cuttle Fish with Squid Guts (RM 9) and many more. The appetizers comes deliciously done.

Served so cute alike a tree hanging and you can plug as you go.

Assorted Sashimi (RM 43/pax)

The sashimi comes with the great selection of fresh items where we are being served with the yellowfin tuna, botan ebi (jumbo prawn) , Chime saba (mackerel fish), salmon, maguro and fresh hotate. Each of the items comes awesomely good and every mouthful of the sashimi is so delicious.

Dragon Roll (RM 19.00)
The Dragon Roll is indeed well done where the dragon rolls are well done with the topped of avocado and unagi on top. In between brings us with the crispy touch of deep fried prawns. The rolls comes with the huge portion and it brings us with the moist texture.

Assorted Skewers (RM 20).

The platter of skewer which includes the grilled Chicken Balls, Grilled Chicken Tail, Grilled Chicken Giaazed, Grilled Chicken Meat with Leak and also Chicken Gizzard Skin. The skewers comes deliciously good with the tender juicy meat.

For this month, Rokko also introduced the Parent Day Promotional set which comes with the Kirin Beer. Served together is the Hamachi is served with the foie ges special roll together with the homemade Sesame dressing, Salmon and also the Chawanmushi.

Foie Gras with Egg Roll (RM 32)

Expensive taste afterall, but yet the taste comes awesomely good with the fragrant blend of foie gras in it.

Tenderloin Steak (150g) : RM 88

Bringing you the Australian Beef; the steak is being teppan till perfection. The meat is indeed well done with the complete juiciness in it.

Deep Fried Tempura Prawn : RM 30.00

The tempura is well deep fried till golden yellow leaving us with the crispy bites at the outside and the juiciness in the inside.

Seafood Fried Rice (RM 19)

Ended with a bowl of hearty seafood fried rice which is filled with “wok hei” in it.
