THE GASTRO PROJECT INTRODUCES NEW MENU & MOTHER’S DAY MENU

April 24, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

The Gastro Project Section 17, Petaling Jaya introduces new menu

Established in Jan 2013, The Gastro Project is a pork-free neighbourhood restaurant in the Section 17 enclave serving Western food with an Asian twist.

The Gastro Project is well-known among their regulars for their unique signature dishes like The TGP Pizza which combines fresh seafood on a bed of garlic pesto sauce with a chilli padi kick, The Japanese Salad with avocado, pomegranate, pine nuts and homemade white sesame dressing and the divine Molten Chocolate Pudding with caramelised chillies that subtly combines a refreshing Asian flavour with a classic dessert.

In December 2014, The Gastro Project welcomed Executive Chef Sazali to the family. He arrived with vast experience in the F&B industry with notable experience at KL’s premier fine-dining restaurant Cilantro.

His touch has been immediately visible in the new menu launched in April 2015. In addition to delectable new creations such as Spaghetti Aglio Olio with Beef Bacon, Caprese Salad with Arugula, Grilled Salmon Fillet with Teriyaki sauce and Roasted Lamb Rack served with Minted Jus, Chef Sazali has also added many fine touches to existing dishes like our fabulous TGP burger.

To end the meal on a sweet note, try Chef Sazali’s signature Lemongrass Pannacotta or indulge in the satisfying Churros served with Caramel or Chocolate Sauce. The Gastro Project also has an extensive selection of beers, wine and a list of both signature cocktails and mocktails.

All these big flavours comes at a surprisingly reasonable price, making The Gastro Project a great place to dine without burning a hole in your pocket. Appetizers from RM 15.

Mothers Day

The Gastro Project is offering a 3 course Mothers Day menu from 1st- 10th May 2015.

Chef Sazali has crafted a healthy  yet scrumptious menu consisting of clear consommé with chicken tortellini, a choice of mains from oven baked salmon fillet with orange beurre blanc and sautéed broccoli or Parmiggiano cheese crust chicken breast with sautéed Japanese mushroom and supreme foam. Caramelized apple mille-feuille with ricotta cheese and Korean strawberry completes a truly special meal. A 3-course full vegetarian menu is also available. Priced at RM 80++ per person, this is a great way to treat that special person to a wonderful meal.
