Kurata Japanese Fine Dining serves you with the authentic Japanese cuisines as how it is traditionally served in Japan. The restaurant which had opened back in November 29th November 2014

KURATA

NEW JAPANESE FINE DINING RESTAURANT conceived and developed by Cassandra Lynn Kurata with THREE JAPANESE CHEFS: Director Chef Doi, Executive Chef Fujiwara and Head Sushi Chef Saito. Cassandra Lynn Kurata, founder of Kawaii Capital Sdn. Bhd. opened “Kurata Japanese Fine Dining”, a brilliant restaurant featuring traditional Japanese Cuisine at PARKROYAL Kuala Lumpur on November 29th 2014.

The restaurant concept is bringing you with the authentic edomae style sushi, Seafood Shabu-Shabu, Tempura or Sukiyaki. And this round, we had the opportunity to try their Edome Style Sushi as well as their Shabu Shabu.
KURATA
We had the Ala cart Sushi 8 Pieces “Suzu” (RM 110.00) where we are served with the Otoro , Hirame, Botan Ebi, Hotate, Kohada, Ikura, Tamago as well the Negitoro –maki. Each of the items are indeed well made and freshly done.
KURATA
I am in love with the Botan Ebi where the presentation comes so beautiful with the authentic style of presentation where the tail is being folded over towards the shrimp meat.

As for other sushis, it is indeed well done and topped with the fresh fish which is imported on monday, tuesday and friday from Kyushu- Island, Hokkaido and Tsukiji Fish market.
KURATA
And for the Tamago, it’s amazing. The tamago is served with the restaurant name on top and chef explains “ All their egg are homemade by using the copper sauce pan. The cooking process takes pretty long and before cooking, the saucepan is heated for 1 hour with pure 100% canola oil which creates the soft texture of the tamago.

KURATA

Besides sushi, Kurata offers Sukiyaki, Tempura and Seafood Shabu-Shabu. This round, we had the seafood shabu shabu which is being served with the natural soup stock (dashi) with the fresh crab and shrimps imported from Hokkaido. Shabu-Shabu literally means dipping the fresh ingredients inside the soup stock. Guests can enjoy and watch the trained waiters prepare the seafood shabu-shabu right at the table for best timing to eat. Their food and serving style are traditional Japanese ways.

KURATA
The brooth comes light, nourishing with the goodness of all the ingredients in the bowl. Every mouthful is divinely good complete with the sweetness from the seafood taste. Kudos to the chef!
KURATA

Overall, Kurata serves a great Japanese Dining. It is not just serving good food but the ambience is superb.
