NEW X2 CHIANG MAI – SOUTH GATE VILLA IS SET TO OPEN THIS DECEMBER

November 24, 2014 by StrawberrY Gal

Asia-Pacific hotel management, development and consulting group, Bespoke Hospitality Management Asia (BHMAsia) announced the opening of X2 Chiang Mai – South Gate Villa, the third member of X2 Villa collection. Opening on the 1st of December 2014, the new Chiang Mai property is a luxury 6 bedroom villa located within the heart of the city, directly beside the South Gate entrance to the old city.

“This is our third X2 Villa in Thailand and the second X2 Villa in Chiang Mai. We opened X2 Chiang Mai – North Gate (Formerly known as X2 Chiang Mai Villa) last year and the result has been very impressive, that’s why we decided to open another villa in this northern city to cater to high demand for the exclusive private villa. Our guests love the X2 design, space, city location, privacy and friendly service,” said Mr. Frederic Garnier, BHMAsia’s Director of Development.

“Chiang Mai is an important Asian hub and has so much to offer. The city has beautiful scenery and historical cultural sites. We aim to recruit more villas to join the collection and create a villa network across Thailand. Many of our guests are repeating customers who seek to travel to other destinations. With the villa network, it will be convenient for guests to travel to other destinations and stay with the property brand they trust,” added Mr. Garnier.

X2 Chiang Mai – South Gate Villa is fitted with 6 well sized bedrooms, spread out over 3 separate units all located within beautiful tropical gardens surrounding a large pond. In addition to the extensive gardens, the villa includes a swimming pool with sun beds, spacious outdoor sala, luxurious living space with games room and a fully equipped kitchen and dining room.

The villa is located in the heart of Chiang Mai which is northern Thailand’s largest city and the most culturally significant. The city center is home to large number of beautiful temples all representing a unique mix of Burmese, Sri Lankan and Lanna Thai styles.  With its cultural importance, original city walls, and the fact the city is much greener and quieter than the country’s capital Bangkok, Chiang Mai, has gained the affectionate name “Rose of the North”. The city still maintains its historical walls and moat, which are only minutes away from X2 Chiang Mai-South Gate. The villa is named after the city wall’s south gate entrance. From this location exploring the city’s sights has never been easier, with beautiful temples, famous markets and delightful restaurants all located only footsteps away.

While still contemporary like all X2 properties, X2 Chiang Mai – South Gate has more natural touches. Inspiration for this design came from the property’s abundant tropical gardens and Chiang Mai’s historic natural environment. Using hand crafted timber, polished concrete and local art the property blends local culture and inspiration with X2’s core design philosophies; soulful tranquility, freedom and simplicity. Like all X2 Villas, X2 Chiang Mai – South Gate Villa offers first class accommodation in a really refreshing boutique and chic style, with concierge, and a host of services to complete the true luxury vacation experience.

The opening rate starts from 34,000 Baht (USD1,062) per night including Champagne Breakfast and one way Chiang Mai Airport transfer for 12 persons. Reservations can be made now at www.X2LOBBY.com or email [email protected].

X2 Villas Collection has three properties in Thailand including X2 Chiang Mai – North Gate, X2 Chiang Mai – South Gate and X2 Phuket Oasis.  In addition to X2 Villas, BHMAsia is also developing and expanding the Away Villas Collection portfolio (http://awayresorts.com) with more properties joining the brand. Currently, the Collection has three luxurious properties in Chiang Mai.
