InterContinental Kuala Lumpur’s esteemed all-day dining, Serena Brasserie stays true to the InterContinantal Brand idea “In the Know” with an authentic Malaysia High Tea experience every Saturday from 12.00 pm to 4.00 pm. Presenting guests with the sumptuous spread of renowned local delicacies, Serena Brasserie’s Chef de Cuisine, Mohd Zalizam and his team goes out of their way to deliver the authentic experiences and the opportunity to connect with Malaysia’s culinary heritage in one destination.

With the diverse menu features traditrional dishes starting with Malay speciailities that include nasi lemak kampong Melayu with beef rendang Minang style and sambal sotong, ikan masam manis, kambing percik, satay kamping baru, roti jala, goreng-gorengan and many more.

Besides the local delicaces you can also get a try of the Traditional Chinese Cuisine exhibits famous dishes as roasted and steamed chicken rice where they have assortment of Ampang Yong Tau Foo, Fried Carroty Cake, Penang Fried Koay Teow, Yeong Chow Fried Rice and Nyonya Curry Laksa.

Not just that, the culinary comes witrh the choice of Indian and mamak favorites such as roti canai, chicken tandoori and naan bread as well as sotong kari masala to name a few.

Filled your tummy with more extravaganza delights with their delicious chilled seafood on the ice, sushi and sashimi, sandwich and salad bar as well as the smoked salmon with fresh lime and sour cream. Pasta stations are also available too with the oven roasted lamb with thyme jus. As for seafood in the ice, you will grab the Fine de Claire Oysters, Canandian King Crab Legs, Tiger Prawns, East Coast Tropical Lobster, Scallops on Shell , New Zealand Green Lip Mussel and Coho Salmon with Sour Cream and Micro Herbs as well.

To end your meals, filled yourself with the delicious sweet temptations which covered the local kuih, cream caramel infused with pandan, banana crème brulee, cheese cake, layer cake as well as assorted ice cream. They also have the tempting array of fine choices desserts by the Acclaimed Pastry Chef- Chan Eng Hua where you can find the spashing fine choices of tiramisu in chocolate cup, Saffron Poached Pear, Crème Brulee Lavender, Soya Milk Panancotta, Chocolate Madagascar, Pave Pistachip and Prune Roulade, and also the Chocolate Fountain.

The refined afternoon tasting will also include an al-fresco cooking demostartion for dine-in guests with recipe handouts rotating the different Malaysian cuisine cooking like the Terengganu teatime favorites , Siew Mai ( steamed chicken dumpling and muhroom) ; deep fried cruispy prawn dumplings, maki California roll and even desserts such as choux pastry.

Aside, Serena Brasserie also comes up with the family time where families can take time off with their childen and here with the new brunch menu, family can indulge the mouth watering brunch set with the classic delights and well as international cuisine.

Families with Children most welcome at the dedicated children corner. Little princes, and princesses will be occupied at the castle with wide spread of children’s menu featuring the super salad, egg sandwich, chiclen sandwich ,fish fingers, chocolate brownies, cookies and candies will be served with fun activities.

Available every Sunday from 12.00 pm to 3 pm, families can indulge in mouth-watering spread of classic brunch favorites as well as refined international cuisine at RM 120++ per adult and RM 60++ per child (6-12 years old) . Take it up notch with an upgrade to house wines and standard pour liquers (rum, whiskey, vodka, gin) at RM 228++ per adult
