Kampungku Seafood and Steamboat Restaurant is one of the new restaurant under the Unique Seafood Group where they recently bought over Bali Hai Seafood restaurant not long ago. The restaurant which is located just next to the Tune Hotel is perfectly a great place for a great dining experience of fresh seafood.

Maintaining the live seafood in tank as well renovating the area to an air conditional place, it is indeed brings customer a better experience while dining. This time, we had our lou sang here with some of their signature dish to dine off.

We started with the Salmon Yee Sang where the yee sang comes with strips of raw salmon and the mixed with shredded vegetables and a variety of sauces and condiments, among other ingredients. The Yee Sang is deliciously made which where the vegetables are crunchy and fresh with the generous portion of fresh salmon

Kampungku Big Bowl Fish (RM 98) is one of my favorite as well the signatures here. The bowl of hearty pipping hot soup which is sweet sourish is indeed appetizing. Comes together with the fresh red snapper where every mouthful of the fish is flavorful and the flaky texture of the fish is just perfect to dine them too. Not only that, the prawns is caught from the tank when you ordered your meals and therefore, the prawns comes very fresh and the sweet juiciness of the prawns is there too. They comes with clams as well which is sweet too.

Pumpkin Crab (RM95/kg) is another signature here too. The fresh crab soaked inside the golden creamy butter sauce in the pumpkin is indeed a great combination. The milky texture of the deliciously pumpkin sauce combine with the fresh crab is sinfully good. Added with some curry leaf with it, it creates a fragrance taste and we did not hesitate to order some rice to accompany the sauce. Delicious.

Stir Fried Kailan with Salted Fish ( RM 18 (S)/ RM 28 (M) / RM 36(L)) is what we had. The fresh Hong Kong Kailan is stir fried with salted fish and also light soy sauce. The crunchy texture of the kalian is good and a perfect dish to accompany with the heavy meals too.

Steamed Kampung Chicken with Ginger (RM 35/half bird, RM 65/whole bird) ends our meal that night. The kampung chicken is being steamed and served with the ginger and chilly with it. The chicken meat leaves a juicy and tender and moist texture.

Why not, spend your Chinese New Year at the pork-free restaurant at Kampungku Seafood and Steamboat. They do have special set meal for Chinese New Year or u can opt to have their ala-carte meal to celebrate your Chinese New Year there with friends and family.
