Huawei Malaysia is gearing up to unveil the new HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Series in Malaysia, bringing together fashion-forward design, smarter health insights and advanced sports experiences in its latest generation of wearables. Built for users who want more from their smartwatch, the new series is designed to move seamlessly between everyday routines, active lifestyles and outdoor adventures.
The upcoming launch builds on Huawei’s strong momentum in the global wearables market. According to the latest IDC Quarterly Wearable Device Tracker, Huawei ranked No.1 globally in wrist-worn device shipments in the first half of 2026, securing more than 20% market share. Building on this leadership, the HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Series marks Huawei’s next step in wearable innovation, with one of its most notable advancements centred on more proactive health awareness.
Leading these upgrades is the HUAWEI-exclusive Diabetes Risk Study, a research initiative led by Universiti Malaya. Using pulse-wave signals collected through the watch’s PPG sensor alongside factors such as age, gender, height and weight, the study assesses potential diabetes risk after three to 14 days of continuous wear. The resulting assessment is intended to encourage greater health awareness and earlier lifestyle adjustments.
Further strengthening its health management capabilities, the series also introduces the Huawei-first Physical Readiness Score, which brings together recovery, heart rate variability, sleep, activity and emotional wellbeing into a single daily assessment.

On the design front, the HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Series combines refined aesthetics with materials built for durability. The HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 is available in 46 mm and 41 mm editions across seven colour options, while the HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Pro comes in three colourways, featuring a nano-tech ceramic bezel and titanium alloy middle frame for enhanced durability. The Pro model also features sapphire glass, while the new EasyCross Strap offers a clean tuck-under design and a secure, comfortable fit. A bright AMOLED display delivering up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness further improves outdoor visibility.
For outdoor sports, Enhanced AI-XDR Positioning delivers more reliable route tracking in challenging environments, while Smart Route Reconstruction estimates sections affected by GPS signal loss. The series also expands its advanced sports capabilities with new golf features on the Pro model, including Plays-like Distance and Shot Distance tracking, alongside cycling tools such as Intelligent Climbing Planning, Sharp Turn Alerts and Lactate Threshold Analysis.
The HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Pro and WATCH GT 7 46mm offer up to 21 days of battery life, while the WATCH GT 7 41mm delivers up to 14 days. The series also retains useful everyday features, including Touch ’n Go QR payments and compatibility with Android and iOS smartphones, while the Pro model supports CE- and MDA-certified ECG functionality.

The HUAWEI WATCH GT 7 Series will officially launch in Malaysia on 29 September 2026. Customers can also look forward to complimentary gifts worth up to RM713, including the HUAWEI EasyCross Strap, HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 2, three months of HUAWEI Health+, one month of Watch Face Membership, a one-year Worry-Free Care Package and one-year APAC Warranty.
