Golden Palm Tree Malaysia is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Wahidah Bahudin as Director of People and Culture.
Wahidah comes on board with over 26 years of experience in hospitality human resource management and will be instrumental in spearheading the full spectrum of HR functions for the resort including but not limited to talent acquisition, learning and development, employee engagement and operational excellence.
Her portfolio includes leadership roles with renowned hotels in Malaysia such as Wyndham Acmar Klang, Movenpick Hotel & Spa, Thistle Port Dickson, Avillion Admiral Cove, and Ancasa Hotels.
Wahidah holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Universiti Putra Malaysia and is certified in HRDF’s Train-the-Trainer program, ISO 9001:2000 auditing, and various leadership and performance management courses.
Her appointment marks a strategic step in Golden Palm Tree Malaysia’s ongoing commitment in building a team of talented hotel associates who will strive to work together and align their visions to the resort in delivering exceptional guest experiences; ultimately achieving business goals and ensuring profitability for the resort.
