A Heritage Afternoon Tea That Tells Malaysia’s Story @ M World Hotel

September 26, 2025 by StrawberrY Gal

This Merdeka and Malaysia Day, step into an afternoon steeped in tradition, artistry, and flavour. From 1 August to 30 September 2025, the hotel invites guests to indulge in an exclusive Malaysian Heritage Afternoon Tea Set — a culinary journey that pays homage to the nation’s diverse food culture, elegantly reimagined for the modern table.

✨ Flavours That Celebrate a Nation

Every creation in this tea set is more than just a bite — it is a story, a memory, and a tribute to Malaysia’s heritage. Crafted with precision and respect for tradition, the menu brings together flavours that evoke nostalgia while offering a touch of refinement.

Savour the flaky Mini Kaya Puff, the warmth of home in its golden pastry shell, and the Mini Chicken Rendang Pie, where rich, spiced rendang meets buttery crust. The Sambal Sardine Sandwich Roll delivers a fiery, familiar kick, while the Chicken Satay Popiah reinvents a street favourite with playful sophistication.

On the sweeter side, the Coconut Swiss Roll and Pandan Kaya Mousse evoke the essence of local desserts, while the Tropical Custard Tart and Pineapple Panna Cotta bring a refreshing burst of sunshine to the palate. For something surprising, the Spiced Pani Puri and a miniature bowl of Curry Mee showcase how bold street food flavours can sit gracefully alongside artisanal pastries.

Each delicacy is thoughtfully plated, turning the afternoon tea into a feast for the eyes as much as the tastebuds.

🫖 Afternoon Elegance, Malaysian Soul

Priced at RM118 nett for 2 persons or RM168 nett for 4 persons, this afternoon tea is not just an indulgence — it is an experience of togetherness. Best enjoyed with friends and family, it invites guests to slow down, share stories, and rediscover the flavours that unite us.

With the setting bathed in afternoon light and each tiered tray presenting a miniature map of Malaysia’s culinary soul, the experience is both indulgent and deeply meaningful.
