Angtara Café – A Hidden Gem in Bukit Bintang Serving Heartfelt Comfort Food#Di

June 4, 2025 by StrawberrY Gal

Tucked away amidst the urban vibrance of Bukit Bintang lies a sanctuary of flavour and serenity — Angtara Café, a true hidden gem redefining comfort food with elegance and authenticity.

With its soothing ambience, thoughtfully minimalistic interiors, and a touch of lush greenery, Angtara provides a quiet escape from the hustle of city life — perfect for morning musings, midday brunches, or slow weekend afternoons.

Angtara Big Breakfast

The culinary offerings here are as warm as the welcome. The Angtara Big Breakfast is a wholesome ensemble crafted with care: golden eggs, juicy sausages, crispy bacon, and toasted bread come together to form a breakfast that’s both fulfilling and heartwarming. It’s more than just a meal — it’s a moment of calm before the bustle of the day.

Angtara’s Nasi Lemak Ayam Berempah

True to its Malaysian roots, Angtara’s Nasi Lemak Ayam Berempah is a delightful homage to local traditions. Featuring fluffy, fragrant coconut rice paired with crispy anchovies, crunchy peanuts, hard-boiled egg, and the pièce de résistance — a piping hot, juicy, and perfectly spiced fried chicken — this dish captures the essence of Malaysian comfort food at its finest.

Angtara Chicken Chop

Equally popular is the Angtara Chicken Chop, a crowd favourite that’s deep-fried till golden crisp perfection. It’s tender on the inside, crispy on the outside, and elevated by a rich, buttery sauce that’s both indulgent and soul-satisfying. Served alongside a generous helping of fries, it’s a Western classic with a Malaysian heart.

Spaghetti Aglio Olio

Their pasta is indeed a good one too. Springy noodles and lovely ingredients. Perfectly an indulgence.

Osmanthus Coffee

For those looking to unwind with something special, their Osmanthus Coffee is a must-try. Infused with the delicate fragrance of osmanthus flowers, this unique creation blends bitterness and floral sweetness in one aromatic cup — a drink that surprises and soothes with every sip.

Whether you’re a local foodie or an out-of-town explorer, Angtara Café invites you to experience dining in a space where every detail — from the décor to the last bite — is designed with love and sincerity. It’s a place where meals become memories, and where simplicity is celebrated with sophistication.
