KAMPUNG CLASSIC DISHES & MOREAT ‘SENANDUNG RASA’ NIGHTLY BUFFET

 This Ramadan, Melting Pot Café is serving up a tempting buffet spread with both kampung classic dishes and irresistible favourites starting from 12 March till 9 April 2024.

Thinking of bringing your family out for a treat for iftar this Ramadan? Nothing is better than catching up with family and indulging in an all-you-can-eat buffet after all. One of the main aspects of Ramadan is bonding with family and friends while breaking fast and what better way to do this than other a luscious buffet dinner. 

This year, our Chefs whips up delicious kampung dishes like Siput Sedut Masak Lemak Cili Padi, Gulai Daging Nangka Muda, Gulai Tunjang Lembu, Asam Pedas Ikan Pari, Rendang Tok, Ikan Masin Masak Lemak Nenas, Ikan Patin Masak Tempoyak, Sambal Tumis Udang Petai and Kambing Kuzi. Nasi Kandar specialty is a must-try, savour Kari Kepala Ikan, Kari Kambing Mamak, Ayam Bawang, Ayam Masak Madu, Ketam Goreng complete with telur masin, bendi and kobis goreng.

Eat your way through the hearty spread with mouthwatering crowd favourites like Roti John, Murtabak, Otak-Otak Daun Nipah, Nasi Ayam Hainan, Aneka Satay, Bubur Lambuk, Sup Gearbox, Sup Ekor, Sup Tulang Rusuk. While seafood lovers, make a beeline for Ikan Bakar Muara where diners can pick their choice of fish and seafood items.

Next, move on to the special carving section and enjoy a plate of Roasted Whole Lamb on Briyani Rice. Other western dishes diner may enjoy are Slow Braised Beef Brisket, BBQ Short Ribs, Hungarian Beef Goulash, Spaghetti Aglio Olio and Pan-seared Fish Fillet Arrabiata.

Authentic Thai dishes can also be found during the special buffet. Have your favourite bowl of Tom Yam Gai then save some room for more Thai flavourful dishes like Steamed Seabass with Chilli, Garlic and Lime, Thai Red Roast Duck Curry, Thai Green Seafood Curry, Sweet and Sour Chicken with Pineapple and Stir-fried Beef with Basil.

Leave some space for Ramadan-centric sweet treats like Sago Gula Melaka, Puding Jagung, Pengat Durian, Bubur Pulut Hitam, traditional Kuih Muih Melayu and more sweet tempters ‘Senandung Rasa’ Buffet is from 6.30 pm – 10.30 pm priced at RM188 nett per person. 

Take up the price of RM160 nett per person on special days, 12 – 15 March and 7 – 9 April. 50% discount for children aged 6 – 12 years old.
