Bufet Juadah Permai @ Kota Permai Golf and Country Club

The Bufet Juadah Permai is a popular Ramadan buffet that has been held annually at the Kota Permai Golf and Country Club for many years. The club is located in the city of Shah Alam in the state of Selangor, Malaysia. The golf course at the club is considered one of the best in the country and has won numerous awards. The club has also won awards for its dining and hospitality services, including the Bufet Juadah Permai.

The Bufet Juadah Permai is a unique and memorable experience for those who attend. The buffet features a nostalgic menu that showcases the diverse cuisine of Malaysia, providing diners with the opportunity to take a culinary journey around the country. The menu is specially designed by Chef Yeow, the head chef at the club, who has more than a decade of culinary experience and has worked in renowned F&B groups throughout Malaysia, Thailand, and Singapore. Chef Yeow’s expertise in Asian and Western dishes allows him to create a feast of iconic flavors that reignite childhood memories and provide a sensory connection to the dishes.

The Ramadan buffet at Kota Permai Golf and Country Club is held in the al-fresco dining area, which features a panoramic view of the club’s Olympic swimming pool. The relaxed and comfortable ambiance is perfect for breaking the fast with family and friends. The dining area is decorated with traditional Ramadan decorations, creating a festive atmosphere that adds to the overall experience.

The Grill Station is one of the highlights of the buffet. At this station, you can find mouth-watering grilled beef, chicken, and seafood, which are cooked to perfection. The Grilled Lamb is marinated with a special blend of spices, and the meat is so tender and juicy that it almost melts in your mouth. The Grilled Seafood includes prawns, squids, and fish, all of which are freshly caught and expertly grilled to enhance their natural flavours.

Another must-try station is the Deep Fried Station, which offers a variety of crispy and crunchy fried items. You can find delicious deep-fried snacks like Pisang Goreng, Karipap, and Cucur Udang. The station also offers various deep-fried mains like Ayam Goreng Berempah, Sotong Goreng Tepung, and Ikan Goreng Cili.

At the Noodle Station, you can find a range of noodles, from the classic Laksa to the popular Char Kuey Teow. The noodles are cooked in a flavourful broth, and the ingredients are fresh and of high quality. You can also customize your noodles by adding your preferred toppings like prawns, fish cakes, and bean sprouts.

The Rice Station offers a selection of fragrant rice dishes like Nasi Briyani, and Nasi Tomato. The dishes are accompanied by a variety of side dishes such as Chicken Curry, Beef Rendang, and Sambal Sotong. For the Utara Food Station showcases the unique cuisine of Northern Malaysia, with dishes like Ayam Masak Merah, Daging Hitam, and Sambal Udang.

The dishes are cooked in a variety of aromatic herbs and spices, and they are full of bold and rich flavours.At the Dim Sum Station, you can find a range of bite-sized delights, from steamed dumplings to fried dim sum. The dim sum is freshly made, and the flavours are authentic and satisfying.

Last but not least, the Dessert Station offers an array of sweet treats that will satisfy any sweet tooth. From classic Malay kuihs to Western-style cakes, there’s something for everyone. The Sago Gula Melaka is one of the standout desserts, with its creamy coconut milk and rich palm sugar syrup. The Bubur Kacang Hijau and Bubur Cha-Cha are also worth trying, with their comforting and nostalgic flavours.

Overall, Bufet Juadah Permai offers a unique and memorable culinary experience that showcases the best of Malaysian cuisine. The buffet spread is extensive and diverse, and there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
