This Ramadan, Pavilion Bukit Jalil embraces the festive spirit of compassion, generosity and charity, to contribute to the community through its ‘Raya Bersama’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
On 20 April 2022, Pavilion Bukit Jalil organised a ‘buka puasa’ session for 50 children from Pertubuhan Kebajikan Dan Bimbingan At-Taqwa. Children were treated to a dance performance by local animated celebrities, Upin & Ipin, goody bags and ‘duit raya’ followed by a ‘buka puasa’ session at Sedap by Grandmama’s, a popular ‘buka puasa’ venue serving local favourites.
On 23 April 2022, Pavilion Bukit Jalil gave back to the community in need by providing 500 ‘Raya Bersama’ goody bags, each containing essentials including of rice (5kg), cooking oil (1kg), Milo (1kg), instant noodles, crackers, and other essentials to families from Projek Perumahan Rakyat (PPR) Pinggiran Bukit Jalil Fasa 1 & Fasa 2. Project Perumahan Rakyat (PPR) is a government initiative for the low-income group/families (B40 Community), spearheaded by Kementerian Perumahan dan Kerajaan Tempatan (Ministry of Housing and Local Government).
In addition, Pavilion Bukit Jalil also showed appreciation to food delivery riders as well as e-hailing, taxi drivers, and bus drivers for their hard work this fasting month. The mall distributed 150 complimentary buka puasa meals from Grandmama’s to riders and drivers to break their fasts on the go.
