Break your fast with a gastronomic journey through the states of Malaysia at Sofitel’s Destinasi Rasa Serantau Buffet Dinner

Breaking fast for one Malaysian to other tastes different in his or her own unique way, as the diversity of food that’s scattered across the country promises a never-ending journey of wondrous delicacies.  

Living on the possibility of experiencing all the different delicacies Malaysia has to offer, Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara presents during this Ramadan at Kwee Zeen and its Wau Bulan ballroom, the Destinasi Rasa Serantau buffet dinner – a promise to deliver the full extent of Malaysia’s world-renowned food diversity. 

The master chefs behind the curtains will be demonstrating their skills by showcasing seven signature dishes – the Seven Wonders of Malaysia.

Starts of the buffet with their awesome variety of kerabu and jeruk which is simply tempting and mouthwatering. One must try their Kerabu Daging Bakar, Panggang Chicken Salad with Apple Acar , Beef  Toungue Kerabu with Beansprout and Laksa, Kerabu Aneka Laut , Kerabu Mangga Muda, Humus and many more. They also have wide variety of acar to go for which includes acar jelatah with smoked baby octopus. 

They also have a wide sambal variety such as the Sambal Gesek Jawa,Sambal Hitam, Sambal Tumbuk and many more. 

For Japanese food lover, dig in to their fresh sashimi and sushi which is so nice and delicious. 

As for the soup, don’t miss out the savoury and flavourful Sup Gearbox. Asides from the savoury soup Gearbox, one can also enjoy their Sup Kari which is filled with the assorted seafood of your choice.

Must try also is their Chinese Selection where they have wide variety of dish as well as Peking Duck. 

Travel to Negeri Sembilan through its spicy Itik Salai Masak Lemak Chilli Padi – smoked duck cooked in a spicy coconut broth, or to Sabah on the wonderful aroma of Manuk Pansuh – chicken cooked in bamboo stalk.  Experience Perak through the taste of its Rendang Tok Batu Kikir – beef short ribs braised for six hours in coconut gravy and Malay spices, and neighbouring Pahang’s Udang Galah Masak Di Raja – cooked with giant river prawns sourced directly from the state’s main river veins.  Take a journey through Malaysia’s historical, Melaka’s Asam Pedas Ekor Lembu – mouth-watering oxtail cooked slowly in a hot and sour broth, or Johor’s Otak-Otak Lobster – Asian fish mousseline served generously with lobster, wrapped in a banana leaf parcel, and every Selangorian’s feast must have, Kambing Bakar – tender spiced lamb roasted over a charcoal fire. 

They do have a satay, grilled items, grilled fish and many more to pamper your taste buds.  Indian Kitchen is available too and they have a range of variety to go for!

And never miss out their delectable choices of desserts which includes cakes, pasteries, macaroons, chocolate fountain, kuih muih and many more!

Throughout this journey, be taken on a trance by a traditional Gamelan performance – a percussion orchestra originating from Indonesia – to lift your senses while you dine in Kwee Zeen. 

Destinasi Rasa Serantau buffet dinner is available at 

❤️RM128 per adult and RM64 per child – April 3 to April 10 & April 25 to May 1

❤️RM178 per adult and RM89 per child – April 11 to April 24

To sweeten the deal, Kwee Zeen is offering a 20% early bird discount for bookings before April 1. 

Destinasi Rasa Serantau buffet dinner is also available at the Wau Bulan Ballroom from April 11 to April 24 for only RM98, offering an assortment of choices, covering an assortment of tastes of kerabu, sambal and kuih.   

For Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house, Kwee Zeen offers you a delightful feast for the whole family and business associations. Group bookings and open house packages are available from RM108 per adult and RM54 per child in our private function rooms from May 3 to May 8.
