The Samsung Galaxy S7 FE : First Impression

September 30, 2021 By StrawberrY Gal - Gadget, Lifestyle 1 Comment

With the new launch of the Samsung Galaxy TabS7 FE ( Fan Edition); we are totally impressed and in love with it. When they release their S7+ earlier, we are sold with the overall performance and now they come with a more affordable version by cutting down on some extra features to make it more affordable and accessible to more market. And this time, we get our hands on the Galaxy Tab S7 FE.

Specification

The Galaxy Tab S7+ LTE gives me a premium feel at first touch. Here, the Galaxy Tab S7 FE comes with a huge display which is a 12.4-inch display, an equally massive 10,090 mAh battery with 45W charging, S Pen support, and the latest One UI software packed with excellent features like on-device DeX mode.

Design

At the first glance, the  Galaxy Tab S7 FE with the Tab S7+ are quite similar in lots of ways. The Galaxy Tab S7 FE comes with a huge 12.4-inch display, and the sides and back of the tablet are metallic, giving it a premium feel. With the big screen, it is, of course, you need two hands for comfortable use but it is not heavy as expected as it weights around 608 g making it incredibly thin and light.

They are completed with a USB-C 3.2 gen 1 port on one side, as well as a slot for the microSD/SIM card. The central user-facing camera, for video chats and software-based face ID security, is placed properly in the bezel above the screen (rather than on the side). On the left side, there is no button but there three-antenna lines, the second speaker grille, and a microphone. At the bottom, you can find a couple of holes for you to secure the keyboard accessory ( purchase from Samsung) .

Audio

They are completed with the AKG – tuned, Dobly Atmos Stereo Speaker that provides excellent sound. The speakers generate clean audio with a solid range that doesn’t distort at high volumes. It is perfect for you to enjoy music and also watching videos. Bluetooth codec support is also solid which makes it perfectly good to connect your speaker or bluetooth headphones.

Connectivity

As this is a Wifi version, it does not comes with mobile data connectivity but it is able to support the 802.11ax WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and GPS.

Display

The display of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE sports an 8-megapixel camera on the back and a 5-megapixel sensor on the front selfie. The S7 FE’s screen measures 12.4 inches across the diagonal, packs in an impressive 2,550 x 1,600 pixels, and is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It’s incredibly sharp, offering more than enough resolution for reading small text or making edits to photos.

The Camera

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE sports an 8-megapixel camera on the back and a 5-megapixel sensor on the front selfie. They are pretty good where we will share more about them in our next review.

The S – Pen

Yes, Samsung Galaxy Tab S7FE comes with a pen which give  you the convenience on jotting notes, drawing, and in work. And the best thing I love is S Pen to latch on to the pad. Love it so much.

The Battery

The battery of the Galaxy Tab S7 FE comes with a massive 10,090mAh battery which Samsung claims it could last up to 13 hours when you’re watching videos. And they come with the 45W charging via USB – C.

What’s in the box.

The box is complete with a Quick Start Guide, Warranty Card, and Ejection Pin, Wired Earphone, a Charging Cable, and a 15W Super Fast Charging Adapter.

Price

Galaxy Tab S7 FE is priced at RM 1899 for 4GB + 64GB variant and RM 2199 for 6GB +128GB variant. It is available in four stunning colors – Black, Silver, and Light Pink. Hi…
Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE first impressions The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE is the company’s very first Fan Edition tablet. If you’re not familiar with the brand, Samsung would take an existing flagship and make it more affordable. There are two configurations for this tablet, a Snapdragon 778G Wi-Fi only and a 5G capable Snapdragon 750G.
