PALM COURT AT THE LANGHAM, HONG KONG, LAUNCHES THE BVLGARI ROSE GOLDEA AFTERNOON TEA

  The Langham, Hong Kong, collaborates with BVLGARI to present the bespoke version of the afternoon tradition – The BVLGARI Rose Goldea Afternoon Tea at The Langham, exclusively available at Palm Court from 1 February to 31 March, 2021.

This 2021 BVLGARI fragrance debuts a new design created by one of the most influential young Korean fashion designers, Kathleen Kye.

 

Inspired by the limited edition BVLGARI Rose Goldea, Executive Pastry Chef, Jean-Marc Gaucher, has curated a stunning afternoon tea that showcases the joyful hues of BVLGARI’s existing brand codes and the hotel’s sweetest shades of pink. Chef Jean-Marc plays with natural ingredients such as raspberries and pink guavas to extract shades of rose pink in preparing an assortment of sweet and savoury treats.

 

The sweets section features the fragrance’s emblematic rose, the Rose Goldea filled with cherry sakura lava. Diamond Forever is made with raspberry and rose white chocolate, topped with a diamond. Dare to Dream highlights a refreshing taste of pink guava and citrus from the cheesecake mousse, and Get Wild, Be Bold is full of wild strawberries, which will surely satisfies guests’ craving for sweet delights.

 

For a perfect balance on the palate, the menu also includes a savoury selection including chicken and asparagus sandwich with truffle, Italian parma ham and celeriac remoulade, Scottish smoked salmon roulade with Trout caviar and foie gras mousse with pink champagne jelly.

The ever-popular freshly baked scones paired with Devonshire clotted cream and preserves are presented in two flavours, the original and another that takes on a pink blush from the sakura studded within. The BVLGARI Rose Goldea Afternoon Tea is best complemented with a fine selection of premium loose leaf JING Teas.

 

For added indulgence, guests may opt for a delicate floral cocktail – the Enchanted Rose that carries hints of rose and sprayed with chamomile, silk rose tea, and rose syrup – served in an elegant perfume bottle, or the Deluxe Menu which offers a glass of Taittinger Champagne.

The set is served on weekdays from 3:00 to 5:30p.m., and on weekends and public holidays in two sittings, from 2:15 to 4:15p.m., and 4:30 to 6:30p.m.

 

As part of this collaboration, guests will also receive one complimentary BVLGARI Rose Goldea EDP miniature with every set of BVLGARI Rose Goldea Afternoon Tea for two, on a first come first serve basis.
