PEKING DUCK TREAT AT ZUAN YUAN CHINESE RESTAURANT ONE WORLD HOTEL, PETALING JAYA

November 24, 2020 by StrawberrY Gal

This exquisite delicacy is presented in a 2-course set menu, in which no part of the fowl goes to waste. The first course is served Peking duck – a glistening golden-brown bird that truly is the crowning glory of Chinese cuisine… Once prepared and served only to the emperor and nobles in China, it is now available at Zuan Yuan Chinese Restaurant throughout the month of November.

in the manner Peking duck is most well-known for – the crispy skin is meticulously carved into rectangles with expert culinary flair then wrapped with condiments consist of steamed pancake, flowered scallions, julienned cucumbers and hoisin sauce.

For the second course, diners can opt to have the remains prepared in five clever variations although the tender meat of this laborious dish is adequate to delight the palate on its own.  Highlights include Wok Fried Duck Meat with Ginger and Spring Onion, Wok Fried Duck Meat with Black Pepper Sauce, Stir Fried Duck Meat with Assorted Vegetable stuffed in Mini Tarts, Stir Fried Mee Sua (thin salted noodles made of wheat flour) with Duck Meat and Bean Sprouts; and Fried Wild Rice with Duck Meat and Vegetables.

Priced at RM110.00nett, this quacking good dish available for lunch and dinner. For purchase order or for further enquiries, please call 603 – 7681 1159 or email to [email protected].

Apart from the mentioned, this long-standing restaurant’s extensive menu also flaunts decadent Cantonese seafood dishes, nourishing double-boiled tonic soups and delightful little bites that touches the heart (dim sum).
