Live, Work & Play at Komune Living

August 28, 2020 by StrawberrY Gal

Komune Living is part of the dynamic integrated development of Bangsar South where business, social and entertainment coexist perfectly. More than a hotel, Komune Living is a brand-new co-living concept hotel catering to both short and long term stays with private en-suite studios and community facilities.

Komune Living offers 7 different room types which includes the Thinker Studio, Thinker Studio Two, Thinker Two, Dreamer Studio, Dreamer One Plus, Artist Studio Loft and Artist Studio Plus Loft.

We checked-in at Dreamer One Plus, a 38 sqm room in size that comes with a queen bed, a kitchenette and a living room. The space was well designed with a minimalist concept and was great for our stay.

We loved how the room came with a workspace, especially since we always need a space to work while traveling. It seemed fitting for travellers who want to experience both staycation and workcation.

The rooms come with ample space and they have a nice working space where we can do some work in our rooms. Completed with the cosy bed and also the beautiful view of Federal Highway.

Upon arrival, we tried out the self-service check-in kiosk, the check-in process was smooth and convenient. Something different than the usual check-in systems from other hotels.

Aside from the contactless check-in system, the hotel also set precautionary measures such as temperature checks, placement of hand sanitisers within the premises and social distancing measures.

What we loved most is the Co-living space at level 1 as it serves as an alternative space for us to work, dine and chill there. The open concept space also allows us to mingle and get to know the other guests staying there.

There is also a laundromat located on the same floor. Get your laundry done and while waiting, you get to explore the community kitchen, outdoor BBQ area and the Game Base as well.

On level 29, you’ll find the gym and the infinity pool. What we loved about it during our stay, was how the team handled the SOPs and bookings to help guests be safer while using the facilities.

I was required to book my slot for my swimming session and I was given a wristband that indicates the timing of my swimming session. As for the gym access you’ll need to book a slot as well. Both facilities usage hours were limited to 1 hour per session.

Catch a glimpse of the sunset and the breath-taking view during your swim. Otherwise, you can just chill at the sundeck area as well.

Overall, our stay in Komune Living was great. If you would like to experience co-living, this is the place to stay!
