Little Pig @ The Hub SS2, Petaling Jaya

November 29, 2019 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review, Invited Review Leave a Comment

Little Pig is another new addition in Klang Valley food scene. And this time Chef Yong Yu Khim returning to Malaysia bringing you with the new concepts of Spanish Dining.

Located at the new place called The Hub, the restaurant is located at the first floor of the building itself where it brings you with the cosy and quiet ambiance. In Little Pig, one can enjoy the unique food with the modern twist of Spanish delights in one goal. The restaurant brings you a mix of two concepts where at the front, one can enjoy a proper sit down menu and you can opt to sit at the bar as well.

Spanish Agria and Aioli (RM 13)

One of the signatures here! One can enjoy this fried Spanish potato agria millie-feuille, aiolie and chipotle sauce. The dish comes simply unique and full of flavours. The omelette is well baked with perfection leaving you with the soft texture at the top. Nicely done!

Mix Croquetas

For fans of croquetas, you can have the ham and mushroom croquetas here. I love the mushroom one as they are really creamy and complete with the fragrance of mushroom in it. I love the crispy bites at the outside while the inside brings you with the flavourful mushroom taste with the creaminess in it.

Potato Bravas

A unique and yet appetizing tapas here. One can now enjoy the awesome Fried Spanish Potato Agria Millie -Feullie Aioli served with their signature Chipotle Chili Sauce. I love the taste of the Potato Bravas as it brings you with the crispy bites but yet addictively good.

Crispy Pork Belly Eel Bao

Impressive Juicy Bao! I love how this juicy bao is made where one can enjoy the awesomelicious bao which is packed with the creamy touch of pork belly and ell with it. The bread comes fluffy with the crispy-licious bun. Awesome and perfect!

Roasted Leek (RM 35)

For fans of leek, go for their Roasted Leek where their leek comes with the Stracietella cheese, brown butter sauce together with the hazelnut. The roasted leek comes pretty good and something to look forward when you are there!

Squid Ink Filini Paella  (RM 45 (M)| RM 88 (L))

Must have here is the Squid Ink Filini Paella. In here, one can enjoy the Little Pig version of Paella. The Filini Paella comes simply flavourful and topped with the generous portion of seafood on top which include clams, prawns and also squids. Irresistible!

Suckling Pig Paella (RM 48 ( M) | RM 94 (L))

One of the must to have here as well as this is pretty unique.  The Suckling Pig Paella comes simply flavourful and delicious as they are using imported pig from overseas and they are served together with the Morocilla Blood Sausage, Parsley, Garlic and oil.  Wonderfully good and delicious!

Suckling Pig Terrine (RM 145)

Using 20 minutes cooking time, one can enjoy the Deboned Suckling Pig from Spain  and served with the Pumpkin Puree, Red Wine and  Black  Garlic Sauce. The meat comes with the aromatic blend and every mouthful is perfectly good and indulging. The meat comes simply juicy and complete with the aromatic hint of red wine infused in it.

LP mini burger and fries  (RM 20)

As for their desserts, one can enjoy the cute and Instagram friendly desserts. Must try is their LP Mini Burger and Fries.  The Mini Burger and Fries comes completely delicious where they are made from the Valrhona Chocolate Mousse with fruits.

Crema Catalana sandwich (RM18)

Another must try is their Crema Catalana Sandwich that comes with the Lemon Caramel, Crème Catalana Curd, Toffee Ice Cream and Strawberries. Something worth to try here.

And now, you can hop to Little Pig to enjoy the delicious Spanish delights in a great ambiance.
