Dapur is Now Open at Berjaya Eden Park London Hotel

March 15, 2019 By StrawberrY Gal - Food News Leave a Comment

Berjaya Hotels & Resorts is pleased to announce that Dapur, a fully halal restaurant offering Malaysian cuisine, is now open at Berjaya Eden Park London Hotel in Bayswater, London.

Dapur’s humble beginning started in Holborn five years ago. It was founded by two Malaysians, Sharizah Hashim and Safiah Ahmad who are now residing in London. Following Dapur’s first success in Holborn, the owners open the second restaurant at Berjaya Eden Park London Hotel in Bayswater. Now more Malaysians can savour their favourite Malaysian comfort food even when they are abroad in London. This new restaurant is definitely a go-to place for Malaysians residing in London.

Given the upmarket location right next to the Hyde Park, Dapur’s dishes are more well-presented compared to the dishes being offered at its takeaway eatery in Holborn. Some of their signature dishes include nasi lemak with beef rendang, mee goreng with ayam goreng cili, and pumpkin masak lemak. These hearty dishes are using recipes that have been passed down through generations from the mothers and grandmothers of both owners. The restaurant also offers other traditional Malay dishes and desserts such as nasi impit, cucur sayuran, sambal tumis, acar timun, bubur pulut hitam and kek gula hangus. Classic Malaysian beverages such as teh tarik and Milo are the crowd’s favourites in London too.

“Dapur is the favourite Malaysian restaurant of MasterChef UK contestant Zaleha Kadir Olpin in the United Kingdom. It is also our guests’ favourites too! They love ‘Dapur’ as it stays true to its roots of serving authentic Malaysian food,” said Kathleen Tay Sallows, the General Manager of Berjaya Eden Park London Hotel.

Dapur opens every day, from breakfast until dinner. The restaurant can cater for private and corporate events and functions. The menu will be based on clients’ requests.

Operation Hours:
7:00 am to 11:00 pm (Monday to Saturday)
8:00 am to 11:00 pm (Sunday)
