Sparkle and Shine This Festive Season with Royal Plaza on Scotts!

November 19, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Dash right into the year-end festivities with a delectable spread by the talented culinary team from Royal Plaza on Scotts. From 30 November to 25 December 2018, impress the party guests with an array of festive goodies by Gourmet Carousel. Or take the merrymaking to award-winning buffet restaurant Carousel with a delightful all-you-can-eat feast and in-house celebrations on 24, 25, 31 December 2018 and 1 January 2019 (in celebration of Christmas and New Year!).

Festive goodies by Gourmet Carousel

Celebrate in local style with Rendang Turkey, marinated with herbs and spices, and served with fragrant rice, chicken begedil stuffing, vegetable masala and rendang gravy. There’s also Traditional Roast Turkey and Japanese Miso Roast Chicken – the latter perfect for intimate gatherings.

Not forgetting the decadent yet irresistible festive logcakes, the classic Royal Chocolate, made from 70% guanaja and 66% pur caraibe chocolate with hazelnut feuilletine, is a sweet favourite among guests every year. Lychee Raspberry is dressed with a dreamy layer of lychee mousse and nestled within is a refreshing raspberry-cassis crémeux centre with vanilla and almond sponge. A reinterpretation of the iconic local dessert, Chendol features coconut crémeux, green rice flour jelly, red bean and almond sponge, surrounded by fluffy gula melaka diplomat cream.

Logcakes aside, those who are still in a durian frenzy (we are too!) – Musang King Durian Chocolate Fudge brings to the table generous slathers of fresh aromatic durian paste layered between moist chocolate sponges. Other specialties include freshly-baked Traditional English Fruit Cake, Homemade German Dresden Stollen and Homemade Italian Panettone.

Guests can contact Gourmet Carousel at 6589 7788 or [email protected] for orders or visit www.carouselbuffet.com.sg for more information. Festive goodies are available for takeaway from 30 November to 25 December from 11am to 9pm daily. Orders to be placed three days in advance. The last order is on 23 December, 12pm. All prices are subject to 10% service charge and prevailing government taxes.
