Bottega Mediterranea @ Jalan Ceylon

November 23, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

Bottega Mediterranea is one of the hidden jewels in town. Well located at one of the residential unit along Jalan Ceylon and this is one of the nice place for those who love to dine some classic Italian Delights.

Bottega Mediterranea offers more than just Italian favorite pizzas and pastas. In here at Bottega Mediterranea; diners can expect the truly Italian delicacy such as the Italian cold – cut sandwich, hot sandwiches and also the charcuterie platter.

And in here you can find their exclusive imported product all the way from Italy but at affordable price here. Some of the things that you can purchase here includes Italian Cheese, Pasta, Pickled Peppers, Olive, Mushrooms and many more. They also sell a variety choice of wines, liquors, as well as condiments for cooking as well at affordable price. And what we know is they brought the fresh products from all over Italian Peninsula and they supply to many of the Italian restaunts and hotels in KL.

We started with The Mix Grain Salad. The Mix Grain Salad completes with the healthy barley, quinoa, spelt, fresh tomato, zucchini, pumpkin seed, and rocket leaves. The plate of grain salad comes simply refreshing and healthy too.

The Potato Soup is one of our favorite too. The creamy blend of potato soup which comes flavourful and yet a tummy comfort delight. We loved how they are made and every mouthful is packed with the flavours.

Fans of cold cuts, Bottega have one of the freshest and affordable cold cuts too. Cured Meat from Parma Ham, Porchetta, Spicy Salami, Lomo Iberico are available in their selection too. Their cured meat comes with the nice chewiness.

A must to have here . Enjoy their delicious lagsana where the dish is made in house from their family recipe. It comes impressively delicious making it to our favorites.

Valdostano Sandwich is one of my favourites. Sandwiched in between is the porchetta ham, fontal, roasted onion, sun dried tomatoes, mustard seeds and rocket salad. It is just addict
tomato, mustard seed, rocket salad.

The Homemade Tiramisu comes to our favorite. Even though it does not have alcohol in it, I don’t mind though if there is an alcohol as the mascarpone with the  Italian ladyfingers are perfectly match and delicious. Completely a taste of Italy!

Overall, Bottega Mediterranea is one of the place to go if you are looking for a truly Italian delights.
