China & Nanyang Feast @ Oriental Group Restaurant

Filled up your tummy with great food and being a fans of both Oriental Group and also Ruyi, now you can have both of their created dishes in one goal. And this time, The Oriental Group of Restaurants’ annual gastronomic affairs introduce you with the different dimension of Chinese Cuisine to savour.

And this time, you will be enjoying the great meals curated by both Master Chef – Chef Justin Hor and Chef James Ho. Chef Justin Hor does not need more introduction is one of the famous chef and the man behind Oriental Restaurant. And as for Chef James Ho, he is one of the award-winning chef from MIGF and HAPA. He is also the man behind the famous Nasi Lemak Sushi as well.

And this time, you can have the two-master chef collaborate and comes up with the special menu which is filled with the premium ingredients at RM2,388 nett for a table of 10 people.

Jellyfish & Okra in Wasabi Sesame Sauce by Chef Justin Hor (Ala-Carte : RM 28 per portion) 
Enjoy the awesomely prepared okra and the jellyfish. And it is added with a kick and umpph from Chef Home Crafted Wasabi Sesame Sauce. Such an indulgence.



Codfish Roll by Chef Justin Hor (Ala-Carte : RM 28 per portion)
The Codfish roll is indeed an Instagram friendly dish and it just looks like gold bar when it is served. The cod fish is well deep fried till perfection and once a bite you can taste the crunchiness of the batter.

Zhenjiang Sweet Sour Iberico Baby Pork Ribs by Chef Justin Hor (Ala-Carte : RM 28 per portion)
Enjoy the smaking good Iberico baby pork ribs which comes simply moist and juicy. Each mouthful is divinely good with the moist and juicy meat.

Pink Roses Pickled Radish by Chef James Ho (Ala-Carte : RM 28 per portion)
This comes simply beautiful. Instagram friendly dish to go for where the pickled radish comes with light sourish and yet appetizing.

Spicy Garlic Sauce Pork Belly by Chef James Ho (Ala-Carte : RM 28 per portion)
This is one of my favorite. The Pork belly by Chef James Ho comes amazingly good with the light sourish blend and filled with the nice hint.

Hunan Wax Meat with Dried Long Beans by Chef James Ho (Ala-Carte : RM 28 per portion) 
This is just perfect, deliciously made and have the crunchy bites from the long beans. And the wax meat remains moist and juicy as well.

Superior Shark Fin’s Soup with Morel Mushroom by Chef Justin Hor & Chef James Ho (RM 118/ pax) 
Love the nutritious bowl of soup where they are packed wit flavours and it is simply soothing. The soup is just so good with the sweetness comes from the wolf-berry. Nicely prepared soup just to warm our hearts.

Salt Baked 3 – Head Abalone , Truffle and Kombu by Chef Justin Hor & Chef James Ho (RM 138) 
If you are a big fan of abalone, here you go with their signature. The delicious head abalone which is simply huge and every mouthful is just moist and juicy.  The flavours of the sauce  together with the abalone is superb and I am totally falling in love with this.




Roast Suckling Pig with Foie Gras Mousse by Chef Justin Hor & Chef James Ho  (RM 398) 
This is sinfully addictive and delicious.  The roast Suckling Pig is simply irrestible where the skin comes crispy with te crackling sound. And it is complete with the fragrant foie gras.

Deep Fried Yellow Corvina Shanghainese Style by Chef Justin Hor (RM 28) 
Enjoy the delicious and crispy Fried fish where the fish is fresh and simply delicious. Every mouthful of the dish is deliciously good and love the freshness of it as well.



Baked Rice with Cheese and Crispy Rice in Baby Pumpkin by Chef Justin Hor  (RM 28) 
Creamy rice fragrantly made with the nice hint of the cheese in it. The dish is simply good and delicious.
Ends your meal of course with both signature desserts from the two-master chef.

Refreshing Rainbow Bird’s Nest By Chef James Ho (RM 28) 
Enjoy the soothing blend of desserts with the bird nest in it as well as fruits.

Peanut Lava Carrot by Chef Justin Hor (RM 15 (3 pieces))
Love the crunchy bites of the creamy peanut paste on it. Deliciously done.

Overall the dishes are simply impressive. For fans of Oriental Group dishes, visit them now and they are available in set meal or ala-carte.  The dinner course is priced at RM2,388 nett for a table of 10 people where it is only RM 238.80 per person and this is simply worth for it.

Please note that at their PORK-FREE Maju Palace Restaurant, Oriental Seafood Restaurant and Ruyi Restaurant & Lounge, the roast suckling pig is replaced with Peking Duck. In the tapas items, pork is replaced with chicken and duck. And this creation will be available from 3-31 August 2018 in all their group restaurant.
