Gabro By The Bar @ Melia Hotel KL: A hidden gem for Spanish Delights

April 19, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

Located at the rooftop of Melia Hotel Kuala Lumpur, Gabro by the bar is indeed a place worth to visit when you are in Kuala Lumpur. The restaurant is beautifully located with the comfort sitting with great Spanish delights.  Tapas and wines will be served in a relaxed urban environment.

The Meliá Garbo Bar conveys a sense of ease and sociability – approachable, yet with an understated sophistication.

Pan Tomaca (RM 19)
We starts off with the delicious prepared dish where the toasted baguette is topped with the grated garlic, crushed tomato and olive oil on top. It is such a perfect indulgence especially the crunchy bites of the toasted baguette together with the sweet sourish blend of tomato on top with the fragrant blend of olive oil.

Golden Fried Croquette
Enjoy their homemade croquette of your choice. They have choices of chicken, beef, salmon and also vegetable. We love how the croquette being made and each mouthful is packed with flavours and inside is juicy and flavourful.

Spanish Omelette (RM 29)
This is simply a heart-warming dish, it just feels like home when I took a bite of it. Enjoy the Spanish style of omelettes where they are served with the thin slices of potato, onions as well as olive oil. A simple and yet comfort dish to go for.

Escalivada (RM 29)
For fans of eggplant, you can enjoy this roasted egg plant (skinless) cook together with the red paprika, onions, potatoes, fresh basil and olive oil. It is a comfort dish in Spain.

Tosta De Cecina (RM 31)
For beef lover, do order this. Enjoy the toasted baguette loaf together with the olive oil and Spanish air dried beef. Nicely done and delicious!

Seafood Paella (RM75)
Don’t miss out their paella which is just perfect. Now I can eat paella anytime here. The seafood paella is packed with the gracious ingredients such as seafood, saffron, olive oil, fish broth and Calrose rice.

Crème Catalana
Ends your meal with these awesomely good and tempting Crème Catalana.

Personal Recommendation
❤️Seafood Paella (RM75)
❤️Spanish Omelette (RM 29)
❤️Golden Fried Croquette

Reasons to Visit
❤️Delicious Spanish delights in the cosy ambience.
