Gain Access to an Art Affair Exclusive at Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong

This season of art Mandarin Grill + Bar will launch an Art Menu and the restaurant will be turned into an exhibition venue. Please find below info and attached images for your kind reference.                                                                     
To celebrate the season of art, Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is delighted to present an artistic stay and a sensory dining experience. The Art Affair room package includes an array of inspiring privileges and exclusive access to two major art fairs taking place simultaneously – Art Basel Hong Kong and Art Central Hong Kong. The hotel will also exhibit artist Konstantin Bessmertny and serve a palatable plate of art at Mandarin Grill + Bar.

Art Affair Room Package

Now in its fourth edition, Art Central showcases the next generation of emerging and established artists at the Central Harbourfront that’s only steps away from the hotel. Over at Art Basel, visitors will exhibit regional works of art for its sixth year at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre which is just a short ride by taxi or the Mass Transit Railway. Located in the heart of the city, the iconic Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is the hotel of choice for many leading artists and gallery directors when visiting the city for either business or pleasure.

The Art Affair room package includes:
·         Overnight accommodation in a luxurious room or suite
·         A day pass for two persons to Art Central Hong Kong (between 27 March and 1 April 2018)
·         A day pass for two persons to Art Basel Hong Kong (between 29 and 31 March 2018), including a complimentary Art Basel booklet, access to the VIP lounge and the option to a private guided tour at an additional price of HKD 850 per person
·         Daily breakfast at Mandarin Grill + Bar (Monday to Friday), Clipper Lounge (Monday to Sunday) or Café Causette (Monday to Sunday) for up to two persons
·         A welcome bottle of ‘R’ de Ruinart Champagne
·         Art-inspired welcome amenity on arrival

Available from 25 March until 2 April 2018 for a minimum stay of three nights, room rates start from HKD 4,980 for two persons per room per night, subject to a 10% service charge and upon availability.

Palatable Plate of Art with Konstantin Bessmertny at Mandarin Grill + Bar

Art Advisory CONSIGG is transforming Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong’s Michelin-starred restaurant Mandarin Grill + Bar into an exclusive gallery where guests will be immersed in the artistic world of Konstantin Bessmertny. From 17 to 31 March 2018, guests will be stimulated visually by one of the most exciting artists in Asia today, while dining on an inspiring interpretation created by Executive Chef Robin Zavou. Bessmertny is an artist that is always at a crossroad of east and west, past and present, as well as classical and contemporary. His art pieces are utterly unique, employing humour and candour in depictions so subtle and gentle that they require revisiting time and time again to uncover all that they have to offer.  All the unique showpieces on display in the restaurant will be available for purchase.

Designed to stimulate the senses, guests will indulge in an exhibition of creativity by Executive Chef Zavou’s dishes inspired by some of the most acclaimed works of Bessmertny, such as The Last Dumpling, French Connections, One of You and Spectate!
