Mandala Cafe & Bar @ Publika

January 4, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

Great ambience good food and affordable price. It is all here! Located in the busy shopping place in Publika, this restaurant indeed brings us great ambience and they have loads of story behind it.
Datin Kelly who is a work-alcaholic had decided to have their own restaurant where she have a passion in food, wine, and also yoga. With this, that’s how the name of Mandala coming from.
In Yoga, a Mandala is a concentric diagram and they represents the balance in life and work. And with this, being a busy and work-alcaholic, Datin Kelly had decided to give a break to her hectic busy work and learned yoga. With the passion of yoga, she is a professional yoga teacher with the passion in both food and wine. This is how Mandala’s name came from.
The restaurant not just serving good food but they are affordably priced and they are serving a good range of wine, alcohol, cocktails too. Passionate on wines, the wine that are being sell here are handpicked by Datin Kelly and the wines are selected from a variety of countries from Australia, New Zealand, Argentina, and also Chile.
Starts your meal here with their Signature Deep Fried Chicken Wings where the chicken wings are perfectly deep fried till crunchy bites and it is well coated with the sweet honey garlic sauce in it.
Moving next is the Golden Soft Shell Crab Spaghetti where the lovely pasta is cooked al-dente with the Asian twist in it. We love how the soft shell crab is done where every mouthful is amazingly good and crunchy. And it has the hint of light spiciness.
We also enjoy this tender moist black pepper chicken which is sinfully delicious. The tender moist chicken perfectly grilled and comes with the aromatic hint. Sides with the creamy blend of black pepper.
And of course the pizza. The pizzas are served in square and thin crust. We had the chicken ham and cheese pizza where the pizza is stuffed with generous amount of the savoury chicken ham, pineapple , onions and cheese with it.
As for drink; we tried the Sangria which is the mixed Mecadi, red wine and also fresh fruits.
Don’t miss out the Mandala Signature Cocktail which is blend with the Orange , Strawberry and Vodka.
