September 11, 2017 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review, Invited Review Leave a Comment

One of the famous Duck delights here where it is a must for me to order whenever I am there. This well known restaurant by the name of Duck King is located now in Hutong Lot 10. Well known for their barbecued duck, they are passed down from generations to generations and specialising on their crispy charcoal roasted duck.
The stall had been well recognized and appear in many magazines and overseas newspaper too. Not just that, they are recognized by the international famous food experts –Chua Lan. Duck King’s roast duck is cooked with a recipe handed down by the owner’s; Mr. Jimmy’s grandmother Ong Po Po.
Ong Po Po hailed from Zhongshan, Guangdong, where when she was young she apprenticed under the great chefs of Zhongshan big restaurants (tai jiu lau) who were trained in the traditional Chinese way of cooking.
Charcoal Roasted Duck by Duck King
Famed for their Roasted Duck, one must enjoy this tender juicy roasted duck where it brings you with the aromatic charcoal taste and the meat is tender and juicy. Love how it is done.
Roasted Pork and Char Siew
Have an awesome dish here. And it is always so good to have this. Enjoy the crispy bites of the roasted pork skin. Crunchy and with the cracky sound when having it. Not just that, the meat remains is moist and juiciness too. As for the charsiew, well caramelized. Delicious!

Dry Noodles with Roasted Duck
For those who are looking for some noodles to accompany with their duck meat, char siew, you can have them here as well.
