Ole-Ole Bali @ Sunway Pyramid : A taste of Bali with Heart

July 29, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

Ole-Ole Bali is one the great restaurant to visit where they are having 3 outlets in town where one in Sunway Pyramid, D Pulze Shopping Centre and Empire Shopping Gallery in Subang Jaya. And like what the theme say “LIKE AN EPIC, A MOVIE LIKE EAT PRAY LOVE WE FELL IN LOVE WITH BALI WHERE FOOD, MARVELLOUS AMBIENCE, IMPECCABLE!” ; here goes our great meal here at Ole Ole Bali!
From a small family business to be a successful business with 3 outlets, you will of course assured yourself with good food.  Bringing you with the Balinese delight, Ole Ole Bali is indeed haven disappoint me with their food.

The restaurant brings you with the cosy interior and ambiance, and also you can unwind and relax after a hectic day in the restaurant in the busy mall. Served with a smile, the restaurant is indeed a double thumb up in their service when we walked and entered the restaurant itself.

Bali Trio (RM 49)
Starts with those lovely huge selection of balianese delights that comes with the combination of BBQ Wings , Sate Lilit and Cumi-Cumi Goreng and it is being served with the Sambel Merah, Sambel Terasi and Tartar Sauce. The huge platter meant to share comes amazingly good and delicious where they are packed with flavors especially the sate lilit. It is just too addictive

Tipat Cantuk (RM 19)
These are indeed a unique one to go for. The Balianese Warm Vegetable Salad are served with the tender juicy grilled chicken, deep fried tofu, rice cake and al so hard boiled egg. Sides with their creamy fragrant Tamarind Peanut Dressing. This is one of the item rarely can be found in many Balinese restaurant.

Nasi Campur (RM 37)
Enjoy the lovely plate of the nasi campur where it comes with the combination of the Balianese Grilled Lemongrass Prawns, Squid, Fish, Choices of Beef or Chicken Rendang, and also the sate lilit. Served them together with their Lawar Kacang, Rempeyek , Sambal Terasi and Sambal Matah.  And whats more is we have them with their Nasi Sela which is one of the signature there. We are impressed with the Nasi Sela, where the rice is cooked with the sweet potato. Fragrantly delicious. Believe it not. It comes with pretty a huge portion and I could say for small eater recommend you to share. With the money you are paying, it is worth for it.

Siap Bumbu (RM 33)
This is such a wonderful dish. The Balianese Roast Chicken is perfectly done where it is well roasted with the lemongrass and the fragrant hint of the lemongrass can be tasted. In this, I could say, the lemongrass flavors are well infused into the chicken itself which brings a unique taste. The chicken comes simply tender and juicy. As for the rice, we enjoyed them with their Nasi Kuning.
Grilled Prawns, Squid and Fish Pasta (RM 35)
Are you sure? Yes! We are also surprised with  this where we can enjoy pasta here. Love them so much with the fusion touch in it and served together with the good portion of seafood together. All in all is just so good and pasta was being cooked till al-dente with the fresh ingredients accompanied it .
Being in Ole Ole Bali, you will not head home without trying their desserts and drinks

Pisang Bakar (RM 13).
Enjoy the wonderful platter of pisang bakar where one must not missed this whenever in Bali. I love how their caramelized banana is being grilled as it brings you with a light char taste but also with the complete sweetness with it. Served together with Vanilla Ice Cream and Peanut Candy Toppings for a good munch.

Bubur Injin (RM 11)
I am always not a fans of black glutinous porridge but they are really good. Creamy black glutinous porridge with the fresh coconut milk and banana in it. Just enough to pamper my taste-buds and end our meal here.

Coconut Latte (RM 11)

Hazelnut Fredo (RM 15)

Pulut Hitam (RM 12)

Avocado (RM 12)

Cucumber & Passion Fruit Mojito (RM13)

LemonGrass Mojito (RM 13)

Drinks menu are also quite a vast variety here. They have coffee, tea, smoothies and more. Name it and they have quite a good menu of juices to go.
Overall, Ole Ole Bali is one of the Balinese restaurant which is on my list.
Not just bringing you with the great ambiance with convenient location, but they also brings you with good variety of food that you must not missed too. Portion are also huge and worth for the money. Heads now to Ole Ole Bali to satisfy your tastebuds.
