THREE MARCO POLO HOTELS IN HONG KONG ARE HONOURED WITH THE TRIPADVISOR® 2016 CERTIFICATE OF EXCELLENCE FOR THE SIXTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR

June 14, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel, Gateway Hotel and Prince Hotel have each been recognised for Superior Service receiving the TripAdvisor® 2016 Certificate of Excellence. It is the sixth consecutive year since the awards were inaugurated in 2011 that Marco Polo Hotels – Hong Kong has received the prestigious Certificate of Excellence for Superior Service.

TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence celebrates hospitality businesses that have consistently delivered high-quality guest experiences and achieved appreciative traveller reviews on the world’s largest travel site during the past year. The latest award follows on from Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel, Gateway Hotel and Prince Hotel being inducted into the TripAdvisor Hall of Fame in 2015, for having maintained their top rating for five consecutive years.

The Certificate of Excellence accounts for the quality, quantity and frequency of reviews submitted by travellers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period. The recommendation helps travellers identify and book properties that regularly deliver great service. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, receive a minimum number of reviews and have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.

“We are delighted to receive the coveted TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for the sixth consecutive year. I would like to offer our sincere thanks to our loyal guests who make the three harbour-front hotels their premier choice in Hong Kong, and have made the effort to share their positive reviews with fellow travellers. We would also like to thank our associates who share their heartfelt hospitality each day with our guests. We look forward to upholding our service and accommodation excellence and making every stay with Marco Polo Hotels – Hong Kong a top-rated experience,” said Mr James Ong, General Manager of Marco Polo Hotels – Hong Kong.
