The palate awakens to new sensations at the next Exclusive Dinner New Perspective evening at Plaza Athénée Bangkok, A Royal Méridien Hotel on Thursday, 7 April 2016.

Taste Château Los Boldos characterful Chilean vintages lovingly nurtured by the Massenez family at the vibrant + sophisticated Glaz Bar. Then explore them in delectable depth at the chic The Reflexions restaurant, paired with 03 exhilarating courses, with 02 choices per course, of the French contemporary cuisine they inspire in exceptionally talented + passionate chefs, coupled with a complimentary bottle of either a red or a white vintage per two paying guests.

Originally from a family with close wine associations in Alsace, north-eastern France, Dominique Massenez became one of the foundational figures of the emergent Chilean wine sector in the 1990s. Today the family’s 56-hectare boutique winery in is the country’s most famous estate.

The tasting includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Merlot wines. And the best is yet to come: celebrated Chef de Cuisine Mark Ian Jones + team have created six special dishes of French contemporary cuisine that complement the essences of the chateau’s white Chardonnay Cuvée Tradition and red Cabernet Sauvignon Cuvée Tradition wines to perfection.

Appetizers range Ballontine of confit chicken, wrapped in Parma ham, celeriac, marinated mushroom and micro salad OR Caramelized onion veloute, leek and Roquefort tortellini and crispy shallot.

Main courses offer Breast of cherry duck, fondant potato, bay bok choy, spring vegetables and port wine jus OR Fillet of sea bream, confit potato, baby spinach with caper lemon and parsley.

And for dessert: Panna cotta of Tahitian vanilla pod, passion fruit jelly and Valrhona dark chocolate ice cream OR apricot claffoutis with vanilla ice cream.

All for only THB 1,800++ per person, including Vine Tasting at The Glaz Bar followed by a 03 -course dinner + 01 complimentary bottle of wine for two paying guests at The Reflexions.
