THE COFFEE BEAN & TEA LEAF® USHERS IN THE LUNAR NEW YEAR BY BRINGING PEOPLE TOGETHER WITH TREATS FOR THE HOME AND THE HEART!

January 19, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® (CB&TL) tantalises taste buds with a refreshing seasonal menu, just in time to celebrate the year of the Red Fire Monkey which promises energy, passion and creativity.
Having a unique monkey-themed design, the stunning creation of CB&TL Raspberry Lychee Cake is made with mouth-watering raspberry and lychee fillings garnished with swirls of Greek yoghurt cream that’s baked to perfection – an alluring centrepiece for your celebration. Serve guests their choice of Jasmine tea from the Jasmine Trio selection; try the Jasmine White for a delicate cup of tea made from tender white tea buds and scented with Jasmine flowers, opt for a fuller bodied tea with the Jasmine Oolong or begin your celebration with the Jasmine Puer a rare tea specially harvested from Puer City in China. However, if you prefer a taste of nuttiness with a hint of sweetness – grab a delicious Almond Beverage to go with your favourite cookies!
“Chinese New Year is all about family, and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® understands the importance of hosting a wonderful reunion dinner and open house. With this menu, you can bring the best of CB&TL right into your home for everyone to enjoy,” said Ms Fiona Rodrigues, Director of Marketing & Development at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® Malaysia.
Beginning from 19th January, the Raspberry Lychee Cake is a limited, special edition offering at RM 10.80 per slice and RM 118.00 for a whole cake (pre-order required three working days in advance) only available until 23rd February, the day after Chap Goh Meh. In the Chinese calendar, Chap Goh Meh is when young singles traditionally throw oranges into the river in the hopes of finding a life partner. This year, perhaps treating someone to a slice of the Raspberry Lychee Cake will do the trick!
Meanwhile, until the 6th of March, you’ll still be able to enjoy your Almond Beverages such as the Chocolate Almond Ice Blended, the Vanilla Almond Latte, the Almond Macchiato and more, starting at RM 14.95 while The Jasmine Trio is only available while stocks last. So grab these goodies quickly as they won’t be around for long!
