GRAND SHANGHAI BANQUET

Bringing you with the classy ambience; Grand Shanghai neverless brings us with the great service too. Located at the corner lot of the whole stratch of shop lots, Grand Shanghai indeed captured my attention when I pass through.
GRAND SHANGHAI BANQUET
The restaurant brings you with the homey feel where it brings you back to the glamorous city of Shanghai in mid-18th century, with nostalgic music playing at the background. They have ample sitting place where huge and small tables are available to cater the crowds.

We started with the Dim Sum Selections where they have quite a variety of choices from steam, to bake and more.
GRAND SHANGHAI BANQUET
Grand Shanghai Shrimp Dumpling (RM 8)
The bouncy prawns in the thin silky skin delicately wrapped
GRAND SHANGHAI BANQUET
Pork and Shrimp Dumpling (RM 7.50)
Brings you with the fresh siew mai where it completes with the juicy meat in it.
GRAND SHANGHAI BANQUET
Steamed Pastries with Grand Shanghai Style Superior Soup (RM 9)
The thin skin XLB, loaded with the superior soup which is flavourful and nice. Deliciously done.
GRAND SHANGHAI BANQUET
Grand Shanghai Special Baked Bun with BBQ Sauce (RM 12.80)
For those who prefer some fluffy bun, don’t missed the fluffy and yet delicious baked bun with the juicy meat with it.

GRAND SHANGHAI BANQUET
Some Dim Sum selections available includes some  fried items, bao and more.

Aside from dim sum, Grand Shanghai Banquet serve you with ala-carte meal too. Their meal are priced at affordable rate and portion is kinda huge too. We are pampered with the variety of ala-carte dishes.

GRAND SHANGHAI BANQUET

Grand Shanghai Special Spicy Chicken (RM14.80)
Pipping spicy chicken where every mouthful is filled with the kick of spiciness in it. I love the way it is done with the taste come simply good with the kick of “ma lat” with it.

GRAND SHANGHAI BANQUET

The Braised Pork Belly with Brown Sauce & Chinese Wine and Served with Mantou (RM28)
The delectable dish with the moist and filled with collagen pork belly is impressively good. I love the way it is done with the savory sauce and dipping the mantao with it is obviously a good match.

GRAND SHANGHAI BANQUET

Homemade Style Braised Yam and Pork Belly (RM 18.80)
The lovely portion of the delights comes amazingly good where the pork belly comes sinfully good with the moist. And whats more it is filled with the plentiful of collagen together.
GRAND SHANGHAI BANQUET
Stir Fried Kailan with Chinese Wine (RM 15.80)
The fresh imported Kailan is well prepared and cooked with the Chinese wine Sauce bringing us the hint of Chinese Wine in it.
GRAND SHANGHAI BANQUET
Grand Shanghai Asam Seafood Claypot (RM 35)
The wholesome pot of goodies which includes clams and prawns comes awesomely good. The pot of delights brings us with the sourish and yet light spicy delights is indeed a great one to enhance our tastebuds

Fish Pot
And don’t forget about their fish pot which is served pipping hot. A combination of pork bone and fish bone simmered over hours to extract a traditional bone broth, that’s what makes it so flavorful. It is served perfectly with fresh fish head and vegetables.

Overall, Grand Shanghai is indeed a great place for a decent meals with family. They have a variety of delights to choose for where in the morning you may have the dim sum and afternoon and evening cater for a decent family meals.

I know Sri Petaling is famous for chinese food. Sometime my family like to try new place and hunt for good food during the weekend. So this could be another choice for us.

I’m a big fans of chinese food but i guess this place is non-halal, right? Do you know any good Chinese food restaurant that served Halal food?
