MANDARIN ORIENTAL, HONG KONG AND ROGER VIVIER PRESENT A CHIC ART EXHIBITION AND AFTERNOON TEA

June 18, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

With its strong commitment to the arts, Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is delighted to present a unique Super Vivier Exhibition at Clipper Lounge. On display throughout the summer, from 1 July to 31 August 2015, the exhibit will feature the elegant Mademoiselle Vivier from Maison Roger Vivier and her stylish adventures in the comic book.

Drawing inspiration from cartoons, this modern-day heroine is armed with Roger Vivier’s fun and chic collection, beating back the style kill-joys and colour thieves while globetrotting and solving extravagant missions. In celebration of Mademoiselle Vivier’s use of contrasting colours, the emblematic buckle, and playful patterns, guests are invited to enjoy an artistic afternoon tea created by Executive Pastry Chef Yves Matthey while following Mademoiselle Vivier’s adventures.

Sometimes blonde, sometimes brunette, Clipper Lounge guests can follow Mademoiselle Vivier’s adventures. Sometimes a heroine with super powers in Saint Germain-Des-Prés, sometimes a mysterious woman by a swimming pool in Miami, Mademoiselle Vivier electrifies fans at concerts and fends off the attacks of the sworn enemy Bob-boredom with a “coup de style”. Pieces reflecting the images displayed throughout the exhibition will be offered as part of the hotel’s famed afternoon tea set.

The Super Vivier Afternoon Tea set is priced at HKD278 per person or HKD488 per couple plus 10% service charge. Tea is available from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., Mondays to Thursdays; from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Fridays; from 2 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturdays and public holidays; and from 3:30pm to 6 p.m. on Sundays. Guests can also enjoy the same tea set at Café Causette during the promotion period.
For further information or reservations, please contact the Clipper Lounge at +852 2825 4007 or [email protected] or Café Causette at +852 2825 4005 or [email protected].
