HIROZEN JAPANESE RESTAURANT @ KOTA DAMANSARA

May 26, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

hirozen
Hirozen Japanese Restaurant which is located in Kota Damansara comes to our surprise where they served a decent Japanese delights. The restaurant with the white paper lanterns alike you visit some of the Japanese restaurant in Japan brings you with the whiffes of freshly made sushi upon order.
hirozen
The small cozy restaurant with the nice sitting place as well as private room with the where they may dine in traditional Japanese fashion, sitting on cushions and eating from low tables as dishes prepared by a chef with more than 15 years of experience. The menu comes simply extensive with a variety of choices from the sushi to sashimi, teppanyaki, set meal , noodles and more.
hirozen
We started with their promotion- California Hand Roll (RM 1) where the rice, salad, sauces and kanikama rolled together. Nicely done with the crispy seaweed.
hirozen
Salmon Mentai Sushi (RM 9.90) comes awesomely good where the salmon is being grilled and topped with the savory mentai sauce on top.
hirozen
We are also loving the Dragon Maki (6 pcs) (RM 23.90) that is served beautifully on the plate. The salmon and prawn roll with the eel and avocado comes simply delicious with the crispy bites of from the prawn roll and the moist juicy eel.
hirozen
As for the Age Dashi Tofu (RM 8.90); the tofu is being deep fried and served with the light salty sauce. It is not much my favorite as I find that the tofu is too hard.

For the sashimi, the Pearl Sashimi (RM 79.90) which is situable for 2 person portion comes to our favorite. Fresh cut and served graciously on the bed of ice, the 7 types of sashimi comes awesomely good with the selection of salmon, prawn, ikura, tuna belly and also ika.
hirozen
Something special to try off is their Ikura Salmon Roe Special which comes with moist texture and each mouthful of the ikura is sinfully good and addictive. The salmon roe wrapped with the salmon comes so fresh and I love the way it is done.
hirozen
Huge portion of the Hiro Hotate Yaki (RM 23.90) comes simply delicious where we are served with the grilled half shell scallops with the light soy sauce.

hirozen
We ended our meal with a hearty bowl of Smoke Duck Fried Rice (RM 13.90) where the fried rice is being cooked with the bites of the duck meat. The taste comes simply fragrant and each mouthful is bringing you with the aromatic taste of the duck.
