HAVANA NIGHT: UNWIND WITH THE VIBRANT FLAVOURS OF THE CARIBBEAN IN AN AUTHENTIC CUBAN BARBECUE AT BOB’S BAR

May 26, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

Starting Friday, 7 November 2014, guests can celebrate the end of a long and tiring work week in the relaxing comfort of Bob’s Bar at Capella Singapore at Havana Night. Taking place every Friday, this weekly affair presents a vibrant evening full of life, laughter and live music to go set the stage for a delectable

Cuban barbecue offering freshly grilled Cuban marinated meats and handcrafted cocktails, including our signature Bob’s Fresh-Pressed Mojito.

Havana Night at Bob’s Bar is reminiscent of the exclusive island bars that line the Caribbean coast where guests can escape to a tropical paradise, leaving the bustle of the city and enjoy a hearty meal fresh off the grill accompanied by a refreshing mojito. With that in mind, guests of Bob’s Bar’s Havana Night can look forward to the tantalizing aromas of fresh and zesty herbs and spices as they unwind on the plush daybeds and sofas in Bob’s Bar’s elegant outdoor terrace and bask in the warm glow of sunset.

Menu highlights include a selection of barbecue Chicken, Beef, Lamb and Pork Jowl as well as large succulent Prawns served with a spicy and tangy Jamaican “jerk” dipping sauce. Adding to the flavours is a set of specialty Cuban inspired condiments such as Grilled Pineapple Slices, an Ensaladade de Papas which is a Cuban potato salad, Havana Mango Rum Pepper Salsa and Garlic Bread. To complement the evening’s delicacies is an outdoor Island Bar on the terrace which will be serving a selection of international beers as well as the refreshing signature Bob’s Fresh Pressed Mojito. The Bob’s Fresh Pressed Mojito is created using Plantation 3 Star White Rum, fresh-press lime juice, fresh-pressed sugar cane juice, aquaponic fresh mint leaves and garnished with a freshly grilled sugar cane stick.

Havana Night begins on Friday 7 November 2014 and starts from 6:30pm to 10:00pm. Barbecue platters start from$16++ to $19++ for single meat platters and $28++ for a mix Bob’s Bar Grill platter.

Bob’s Bar presents a distinctive experience that pays homage to Havana’s golden era: the legendary nightlife, high society and tropical seafront that captured the imagination of many. Inspired by Havana’s glory days and Capella Singapore’s distinctive old world charm, every angle from the drinks and food, music, uniforms to glassware has been meticulously researched and refreshed to present an authentically glamorous Cuban-inspired bar.
