CELEBRATE MOONCAKE FESTIVAL WITH GODIVA

August 19, 2014 by StrawberrY Gal

The Mid-Autumn Festival originated centuries ago as a holiday honoring the moon and giving thanks for the year’s harvest. This year, Godiva surprises us with the unusual mooncake festival with their chocolate mooncake. Being famed for its chocolate and a big fans of chocolates myself; I am attracted to their mooncake chocolates.

There are a few choices of packaging for their chocolate mooncake where you can grab with the hamper set, creative mooncake sets and more.

The GODIVA Delight Hamper (RM 815) features the Mid-Autumn Carré Gift Box 16pcs., Mid-Autumn Gift Box 9pcs., Dark Carré Collection 36pcs., Truffle Collection 12pcs., GODIVA Signature Biscuits, Dark Chocolate Truffle 5pcs. and Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Tablet.

The GODIVA 2014 Mid-Autumn Festival Limited Edition Gift box (RM532) honours the annual celebration with elegance and tradition. As for me, I had mine with a box of mooncake where they have a choice of the GODIVA Mid-Autumn Gift Box 1pc Dark Chocolate(RM 66). The also have the choice of the Milk Chocolate. The beautiful fairy-like red silhouette of goddess Chang’e, flying towards a bright golden full moon, mixes classic imagery with modern design and packaging is what it had been highlighted for this year. The chocolates is sinfully addictive with the fragrant dark chocolate smell and each mouthful just melts in the mouth. Smooth texture chocolate complete with the bitter sweet creaminess in it, every mouthful is so divine and I am almost melted together with the chocolate. Nice.

If you are looking for a different style of celebrating your mooncake festival; perhaps you can indulge in the chocolate mooncake with Godiva.
