MAKING A DIFFERENCE FOR MOTHER EARTH AT QUEENSBAY MALL

March 7, 2014 By StrawberrY Gal - Event, Penang Leave a Comment

In conjunction with March being the official “go green” month, we are kick-starting the Queensbay Mall Earth Hour Fun Ride 2014 campaign to promote a greener, healthier lifestyle in Penang and raise awareness of the possibilities we all have to make a positive change in the environment.

Join us this March as we paint the town green through these amazingly fun family-friendly activities to make a difference for Mother Earth.

EARTH HOUR FUN RIDE 2014
29 March 2014, 7.30pm, GF Centre Zone (Outdoor)

Together with celebrity host Jojo Struys, Earth Hour Fun Ride 2014 at Queensbay Mall will be an hour that unites us all to reinforce our commitment to protect Mother Earth.

In support of the global movement – Earth Hour 2014 and the Penang State government’s initiative towards a Cleaner, Greener Penang, Queensbay Mall is organising this joint-effort campaign with Pulau Pinang Pantai Jerejak State Assemblyman, MPPP, Polis Diraja Malaysia and G Club. It is also in line to accommodate the rising interest in bicycle use in view of the overwhelming response last year.

This year, we are inviting all Eco-Warriors, equipped with their cycling gears to join us for a fun-filled evening which includes Lucky Draw Prizes worth up to RM1,000 to be won, exciting BMX bike stunts as well as how Zumba dance.

Registration for the Earth Hour Fun Ride is free and it is open to adults aged 18 years old and above. The 6.64km family-friendly ride will start and end at Queensbay Mall, and cycling helmets and proper lightings (headlights and tail lights) are compulsory throughout the ride.

It will be a night of fun as we come together to make a stand for Mother Earth as non-essential lights are turned off to mark the start of Earth Hour Ride Fun 2014.
