InterContinental Kuala Lumpur famed Chinese restaurant, Tao is proud to invite celebrity chef Sam Leong who claim to fame with his expertise in infusing traditional Chinese cuisine with a twist of modern touch. Together with Tao’s award-winning Executive Chinese Chef Wong Lian You, guests are in for a luxurious treat with one-of-a-kind menu.

Available on March 13, 14 and 15, Chef Sam Leong has specially created a prix fixe dinner menu available at RM268++ per person. Guests are invited to delight in an epicurean gastronomy as Chef Sam Leong brings his passion into an eight-course dinner menu highlighting innovative cuisine such as 9 Treasures Sakura Chicken Consommé, Sous Vide Herbal Chicken and Wok-fried Squid Ink Rice. The extraordinary dining revolution experience boasts an incredible atmosphere, exceptional standards of service and top class cuisine; this is an ultimate dining experience not to be missed!

For a small group of 20 guests, this is the chance to get up close and personal with the modern Chinese culinary maestro, Chef Sam Leong. An experience or a gift for the true foodie guaranteed to impress, sign up for the cookery masterclass and soak up some gourmet brilliance as he demonstrates and imparts his skills of innovative cooking. Learn how to create avant-garde recipes followed with a glamorous six-course lunch available on March 15, priced at RM168++ per person.

Mr Riley added, “Following Chef Sam Leong’s visit to our hotel to launch Tao about two years ago, we had many guests regularly requesting for Chef Sam Leong’s dishes. Inviting Chef Sam Leong again would be a privilege for us and our guests to have internationally acclaimed chef to entice us with his new inventions.”

Open daily from noon to 2.30 pm for lunch and 6.30 pm to 10.30 pm for dinner, Tao Chinese Cuisine is pork-free and is designed to bring guests authentic and memorable dining experiences through the revival of traditional cooking techniques, tailored by the skills of Executive Chef Wong, and exceptional menu items. “Tao”, which means peach in Chinese, is decorated graciously with bloom of the pale pink peach flowers and features hundreds of ornate Chinese teapots. The restaurant houses six elegant private rooms all named after the dynasties in China – Han, Song, Tang, Yuan, Ming, and Qin.
