“CHINESE NEW YEAR” DINNER BUFFET AND ROOM PACKAGE AT THE HARBOURVIEW, HONG KONG

December 27, 2013 by StrawberrY Gal

The Harbourview wishes you an auspicious year of the Horse! Harbour Restaurant of The Harbourview presents “Chinese New Year” Dinner Buffet from 30 January to 3 February 2014 offering a selection of precious and festive delicacies for you and your loved ones to welcome the year of the Horse with a sumptuous feast.

The lavish “Chinese New Year” Dinner Buffet features 4 exquisite festive delights for your indulgence. Prosperity Toss with Salmon and Salad is one of the classical Spring Festival delights in Malaysia and Singapore which is a symbol of abundance, prosperity and vigor. It is believed that the higher you toss the salad, the luckier you will be throughout the year.

Another must-try dish, Braised Pig’s Knuckles, being braised in a specially-seasoned brine sauce for 4 hours by our chef carefully, the knuckle is absolutely tender and tangy. What’s more, two other mouthwatering dishes, the sweet and sour Stir-fried Prawns with Tomato Sauce and the rich and juicy Wagyu Beef Wellington, are added to the menu to tantalize your taste buds.

In addition to the festive delicacies, a rich selection of Japanese and Korean cuisines, such as Korean Ginseng Chicken Soup, Grilled Angus Beef Short Ribs Korean Style, Grilled Snow Crab Leg with Black Sea Salt, Deep-fried Berkshire Black Gold Pork Chop, Hamachi with Red Miso Sauce, Teriyaki Wagyu Beef Cubes and more are also available in the festive buffet for you to experience the authentic dining culture of the two Asian countries.

Apart from the above dishes, another hot-pick is Assorted Seafood Platter which serves New Zealand Oysters, Snow Crab Legs, Canadian Rock Crabs, French Golden Sea Whelks and more on free-flow basis for you to savour the sweetest taste from the ocean. Other not-to-be-missed food counters are Grilled Counter offering sizzling food prepared a-la-minute, Sushi and Sashimi Counter, Cheese Counter and Salad Bar. A range of Japanese and Korean desserts, such as Ginseng Jelly in Shooter Glass and Green Tea and Red Bean Roll are available in the buffet too. Do remember to round up the meal with the sweet and smooth MOVENPICK Ice cream too, 8 tasty flavours are ready in the refrigerator every day.

On the Second Day of Chinese New Year (1 February), a firework display show will light up both sides of Victoria Harbour. The Harbourview, faces the world-renowned harbour, is one of the best venues for you and your family and friends to witness Hong Kong ushering in the y-ear of the Horse with an astounding pyrotechnic display. Thus, “Chinese New Year Firework Display” Dinner Buffet and “Chinese New Year Firework Display” Room Package are delicately prepared by The Harbourview. One night accommodation in Premier Harbour View Room will cost you HK$1,888 only, privileges including late check-out at 3:00pm (subject to availability), free use of gymnasium and welcome fruit plate.
