ALOFT, KL SENTRAL: A FUN ESCAPE WITH MY LOVE ONE

October 14, 2013 by StrawberrY Gal

– Grace welcomes you to Aloft-

866

– The night view of the hotel-

Aloft is indeed a unique hotel we stayed for our weekend. The hotel brings us with the vibrant colour and a modern industrial vibe that makes a fun city escape. Conveniently located in the heart of Central District, it is a fun way to get along the town with the KTM, LRTs and monorial which is just by the walking distance. Aloft is the hotel which is being infused with the DNA of W Hotels, does not disappoint us with our night in the hotel itself. Not only that, it is very convenient for those who are taking the airport express train (ERL) which you can reach KL Sentral and it is just by the walking distance

869

Aloft brings me to the room which suits well for the family. The room with the spacious look with the view of KL Sentral in front of me. The rooms are pretty spacious and bringing us with a more children friendly environment. Camp Aloft is a new concept at the hotel designed for kids, where kids are given their own “tent” as well as Aloft’s bed-in-a-bag and special treats.

870

– The little camp below our bed and Grace went in to the camp when she saw them first time-

871

-Enjoying the toys inside-

For family with lil ones, you can have your hotel booked so that your children can have a chance to experience the Camp Aloft experience. It would be good that you notify the hotel earlier to provide you with the necessary arrangement.

892

We check in to our rooms with the smily face of the staff and leaded us to the room with a smile. In the lift, there is video playing with songs and my lil one is pretty curious of what happening. Leading to the room, the walkway was pretty attractive with the beautiful colorful lighting.
874

– The working table-

873

– The bathroom-

877
The room is indeed a big one where the room have 33 sqm with a king size bed, 42″ LCD TV, and also a working desk. They do have an iron with the iron board with it and sweet little toiletery placed. The bathrooms kills my heart where the sweet purple tiles with shades is well laid on the bathroom itself. The bathroom is well fitted with the shower as well as shampoo which is in the pump size. Lovely!

872
885
Aside, they also have some little space near the bathroom to accomadate a place of coffee and tea making with the bathrobes and safe. Comes together with some magazines as well as hair dryer as well in the walldrobe.

876

– Playing phone on her bed-

884

– Enjoying herself in the camp=

887

– Sleeping with the snoring sound-

With the Camp Aloft, my little onesimply enjoy till the most where the tent comes with a blow big mattress. The small tent are filled with some bigger size lego to accompany her during the stay.

868
Together with our stay, we had enjoyed our morning breakfast in Nook where it is filled with the variety of International and Asian Cuisine. Breakfast is served buffet-style in NOOK between 6.30am to10.30am daily. The breakfast are filled with a variety of dishes from fresh fruits, Chef’s famous Sarawak Laksa , Roti Canai and more.

878

879
880

882

881
Another place for a great entertainment is the w xyz bar. Bringing a cozy environment facing KL Sentral, there is also re:mix lounge to chill for a great afternoon.

883
Here, you can have your enjoyment of drinks with friends and another side of the lounge have the PCs for those who would love to have their mail check and surfing the net. There is also a Wii dance machine at the lobby.
886

897
– Sitting one waiting for us to re-fuel chocolates for her late night snack with a bottle of orange juice-

There is a re:fuel shop right next to the check-in counter. You can purchase some of the snacks from the counter like juices, rojak, sandwiches as well as beer too.

867
Aside, they have 2 saltwater swimming pools in the hotel – an infinity pool with a view of the KL skyline. One is for the adults and another for the children. It is just fun enjoying ourself with our little girl in the pool. Aside, you can enjoy yourself at the MAI Bar too.
895
And what Grace have to say. A smile on her face had proven she superbly enjoy the stay in Aloft
