MANU-FACTURING QUALITY BARTENDERS

August 29, 2013 By StrawberrY Gal - Food News Leave a Comment

26-year-old Hard Rock Cafe Lisbon BARocker trainer, Emanuel Abrantes Pedroso, also known as Manu, visited Hard Rock Cafe Kuala Lumpur recently to train bartenders from Hard Rock Cafe Kuala Lumpur in preparation for the annual BARocker competition. Contenders are expected compete on December 2013 at Hard Rock Cafe Sentosa, Singapore, in search for the best bartender amogst Hard Rock Cafes in the region.

Hard Rock Cafe BARocker competition is an annual competition where bartenders from various countries, including Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore, gather to showcase their bartending skills. They are required to prepare a list of beverages within a specific time frame. Each cafe will compete internally and the winner will represent their cafe for the regional level competition. These bartenders will also stand a chance to participate in the global Hard Rock Cafe BARocker competition in January 2014. Bartenders from Hard Rock Cafes listed under HPL group are trained by Manu in preparation for the competition.

“The Hard Rock Cafe BARocker competition is a platform for our bartenders to learn and improve their bartending skills. Manu’s visit to our cafe will not only prepare our bartenders for the competition, but at the same time to uplift our services, fulfilling our customer’s satisfaction,” said Nor Esah Abdul Ghani, Marketing Manager of Hard Rock Cafe Kuala Lumpur.

Manu has also entertained the customers with an up-close flair demonstration and an on-stage flare performances during his 3-day visit to the cafe.

“Visiting various Hard Rock Cafes is also a learning curve for me to exchange opinions and experiences with the local bartenders. Every country has a different culture and it is important to identify that culture to create a suitable beverage for our customers,” said Manu.

“This training at Hard Rock Cafe Kuala Lumpur is an eye-opener. Observing the rich culture of Kuala Lumpur has deepen my knowledge on understanding customer’s needs, and at the same time satisfy those requirements,” he added.

Since Hard Rock’s establishment in 1971, the company has committed to providing high quality foods, beverages, and services to fulfill their customer’s satisfaction. Hard Rock Cafe Kuala Lumpur also carries the same commitment to provide internationally recognised servicing standard, living up to the company’s motto of “Love All, Serve All”.
