This month Prince Hotel welcomes the promotion of Greek Food Festival. The “Greek Mediterranean Buffet Dinner” is available for 10 days where it starts from 9 to 10 May 201, 6.30 pm to 10.30 pm. Featuring Chef George Diakomichalis for the second time round, the buffet spread is indeed provides us with the extensive spreads of menu which includes starter to main course and desserts.

– Fajita Marinated Chicken Skewers with Avocado Cream-

– Greek Appetizers/Salad-

The extensive buffet spread does not disappoint us though where we can try so much from the buffet spread. The appetizers include the Fajita Marinated Chicken Skewers with Avocado Cream, Elies Marinata, and many more. You can try the spread of appetizing appetizers from Greek as well they also features seafood (Oysters, Prawns) on the bed of ice as well.

– Souvlaki (Grilled Skewers)-

-Oven Roasted Potatoes with Paprika, Revitha Tou Fournou (Oven Baked Chicken Peas)-

– Gemista ( Stuffed Tomatoes and Peppers)-

– Prawn Saganaki (Prawn and Feta hot pot)-

– Grilled Swordfish with Oregano, sea Salt and Olive Oil-

Kotopoulo ringanato ( Lemon CHicken with Thrimbi and potatoes)

Moving to the mains, there are do have the Moussaka ( Baked Eggplant and Meat Casserole) which is one of the popular item in Greek. Not only has the Moussaka, some other signatures from Greeks includes Oven Roasted Potatoes with Paprika, Revitha Tou Fournou (Oven Baked Chicken Peas), Gemista ( Stuffed Tomatoes and Peppers), Prawn Saganaki (Prawn and Feta hot pot) and many more. The variety of the Greek Delights which covers a wide variety which will not disappoint us.

Besides the mains, the pilafi melizanaes ke domates (Eggplant and tomato pilaf) is another delicious dish to try off too.

Rizogalo (Creamy RIce Pudding)

– More Desserts-

-Almonds coated with Chocolate-

– Galaktobouriko (Custard in Filo Pastry)-

The Greek Desserts are impressively delicious as well where we enjoyed a lot on its desserts. The variety of the Greek Desserts available include the Rizogalo (Creamy RIce Pudding),, Galaktobouriko (Custard in Filo Pastry), Cream Kataifi ( Custard Cake with Shreded Filo Pastry), Loukomades (Honey-drizzled Fried Pastries) and more. For me, I love the Loukomades as well as the Baklava which is the Sweet Almonds and Honey Pasteries)

The meals ended with some sweet lovely ice creams to complete my tummy. The buffet was great where they have a large variety of Greek Spread which not to be missed. There are lots to learn and lots to taste on in the whole buffet where Chef had made superb highlights on the Greek Delights
