Home / Food Review / RAKUZEN, TROPICANA CITY MALL

RAKUZEN, TROPICANA CITY MALL

February 28, 2013 by StrawberrY Gal

Rakuzen had opened another outlet in Tropicana City Mall and the restaurant is always packed with customers. A popular restaurant, you’ll be lucky if you are immediately seated without a reservation, especially during dinner when the restaurant is packed. The restaurant is bringing the tastefully decoration with the bamboo which provide me with the tanquil and relaxing feeling when I walked in. It has a few private rooms in the restaurant which cater for bigger crowds.

What I love the most about Rakuzen is their extensive menu which covers a variety of specialty dishes which never fail to disappoint me. The varieties of the food are simply addictive and we are now ordering the sets which can be shared among us.

Chicken Katsudon set is one of the orders in Rakuzen. The golden fried chicken katsu is well served with the savory dashi sauce and eggs all over the rice. The dish is then being garnished with the Japanese wild parsley. The set of chicken katsu don is being served with a scoop of potato, miso sauce, chawanmushi as well a plate of fruits. The chicken katsudon has the egg fragrance and it mix well with the tender juicy chicken meat with it.
Taste: 5/5
Price: RM 25.00

Saba rice set

Saba rice set

Saba rice set is well served to our table next. The fresh saba fish is well grilled with salt. It is just nice with the tender juicy meat in it and I love the it so much with the flavors of the fish is there. The set is quite large in portion to it as the set comes with a rice, scoop of potato, miso sauce, chawanmushi as well a plate of fruits.
Taste: 5/5
Price: RM 38.00

Ended with the salmon shioyaki which is superb and sweet juicy bites.
